Time rolled around to Logan's second year of magic school, and around the time that kids Tess's age started to enroll.
"I did what you asked" Laina told Logan as they were entering the carriage, "what did I ask again?" Logan asked confused. "You asked me to do some self reflection." "Oh yeah I did didn't I" he said, "that's nice what did you figure out?"
"I apologize for my behavior, I realize that I shouldn't of treated you badly, I was a jerk sorry." Logan was suprised, he didn't think that him just asking her to reflect that would cause her to fully change her treatment. Of course that's what Logan thought, it was true but it was not the only reason, the main reason was because he was considered an anomaly.
"Oh, thank you" Logan said still baffled. The trip quickly passed because it had happened multiple times, and Logan decided to explain to his normal group that his sister married Laina's brother, so that meant they would be together more.
He also explained that she did some self reflection, and Laina cut in saying "I apologize for my treatment towards you" to Grace and Iris.
Logan didn't know that she also treated them badly as well but didn't think much of it, "so I think it would be beneficial to everyone if kids from every family became freinds" Logan said after Laina apologized. "Why do you always think of profit Logan?" Nick asked rhetorically, "well profit means more things and everyone wants more things" Logan said.
After Laina actually got to know everyone she looked more guilty, after another get together, Logan thought he should visit Jack and the others, it seems the profit talk made him think that keeping up that relationship would benefit him.
That group seemed pretty exited to see him, Logan found them quickly because he knew that they always practiced at dawn.
Over time Laina was more welcome in their group and left her other one, she became friends with them and significantly changed.

It was one day that made Logan, Remember.
He was in magic theory and they were covering a new subject, Logan was excited, till he got called to the headmasters, he was bummed because he was excited.
"Yes? Am I in trouble?" Logan said as he walked in, "you two are going to be taking a break from school till after summer break" she said when Logan fully walked in with the door closed behind him. Tess was there just as confused as Logan, then Annie entered the room in a somber mood. "Come on let's go, I'll tell you what happened in the carriage"
In the carriage after an hour of silence Annie finally spoke, "there was a report of a demon attack." She paused before continuing, "it was on our house, and was going to affect the village as well if left for the soldiers."
"The initial attack destroyed the garden portion of the grounds. And sadly mother was there at that time" Tess after a couple of seconds started tearing up, Annie continued anyway "father and brother were killed during the assault, but not in vain" after Annie finished, Tess burst out in tears, Logan sat emotionless saying nothing.
Logan had emotions, but no one ever saw them. He had to always be strong, in his past life he held together his family, his parents constantly overwhelmed, his younger siblings made it worse, being spoiled made them mad for everything.
Logan had loved his family, at least he thought he did, his perspective changed when he lost his new parents. Logan hadn't once thought about his old family when he died, and now in this moment his mind was racing, his skill didn't help one bit, instead it made it worse, remembering his actions leading up to his reincarnation.
'I'm terrible, I don't deserve the care I've been shown.' That's the end conclusion Logan reached, he spent the rest of the day repeating that in his mind. It only subsided the next day when Logan saw Annie comforting Tess, who started crying again after realizing it wasnt a dream.
'I need to focus on the people I have right now, thinking about something that I cannot change is inefficient' Logan thought.
And so he spent the rest of the trip going over all his emotions, when he first went to the back of his mind he was overwhelmed with anger. The back of Logan's mind is full of angry memories, when ever he got mad instead of expressing them he just escaped into his world.
This was the first time Logan realized how frustrated he was, Logan's anger made his thoughts irrational, and made him blame everything on the demons that attacked them. He quickly regained composure, 'that isn't necessarily a completely bad idea, and it'd be a bad thing for my anger to keep building up'.
The rest of the days quickly passed after Logan got an objective. When they reached the house it was a mess, garden destroyed, half the house gone. The captain of the guards ran up he was significantly ingured but still moving, "masters, I apologize for your loss, but I have an urgent request." "Thank you, what is the request" Annie said.
Annie had been acting strong ever since the headmasters office, but Logan saw right through that facade, he heard Annie crying every night.
It turns out the remaining soldiers were all injured, some lost multiple limbs, and a soldier lost their right arm and leg and also lost an eye.
Annie immediately ran to the most ingured, while Logan completely changed from trying to not stand out, to being the most efficient, though he kept a little of his skill from showing to anyone.
Logan followed Annie soon after, and went to the man who lost an eye. He completely regenerated both of his limbs. "Do I have your permission to rip out your eye" Logan said coldly to the soldier, "y-yes" he said still baffled, no current light magic was at the level of completely healing limbs.
Logan put the soldier to sleep, and brutally ripped out his eye healing it right after. "What!? H-how did you do that" Annie said both curious and freaked out, "don't worry about that right now" Logan continued healing the people without limbs and then moved on to the less ingured soldiers.
"Are you going to tell me, or do I have to wait longer" Annie asked that night, "I used healing magic that's it" Logan said without showing a hint of emotion on his face, "I'm gonna go to sleep, please don't ask me anything else till after their funeral" Logan said walking towards his tent.
Late that night he thought he would finally see how strong he is, 'I think now is a good time, my anger never fully subsided after that first time' he walked towards the forest in the direction of where the first attack came.
When he got far enough in the forest he let his anger out in a controlled manner, while spreading his mana in a thin layer all around him. "They are south" he said releasing all the magic he casted, he broke out in a sprint reaching their base miles away in a manner of 1 seconds fully releasing his anger.
The entire area was flooded with a flash of neon, causing the surrounding area to collapse, the only surviving demons were flying still trying to figure out what happend, Logan didn't give them any time sending a planet level Fire spell, that completely incinerated whatever the small flame touched.
That spell completely wiped the demon it was aimed at, but Logan paid no attention only focusing on the other demons who started attacking him, Logan kept his rationality and payed attention for the strongest one. After wiping out all the other demons he subdued the strongest one.
"Where are your superiors?" Logan asked, "I won't tell you" the demon said looking baffled, "how about this, I want to duel your boss" Logan said impatiently. "I'll tell you if you tell me how your speaking my language, and you leave me alive." The demon said, "alright, I know your language, and I'll leave you alive" Logan lied, "The boss is in the south" he said.
Logan focused his mana towards the south, and detected a large swell of mana. "I appreciate your cooperation" Logan said cutting off his head.
