Chapter 25 - Testing Spirit Wolf - Luminal Bridges - Chapter 25

Marcus paid one septim to an old man that fed his horse while he stayed in the Dragon Bridge and then took a deep breath as he started riding his horse.

It was enough to stay in the Dragon Bridge.

He needed to go to Morthal and then decide how to reach Winterhold from there; he may decide to go to Dawnstar and then Windhelm before leaving to go to Winterhold, but he needed to think more about his plans.

After all his time in the Dragon Bridge due to his relaxing and pretty good lifestyle, he spent about forty septims.

Of course, not considering the spellbooks he bought, he only spent ten septims on food and drinks and also some services, such as a place for his horse to stay warm.

For him, it was not important.

As long as he has an Alchemy Table, he can make more motions to earn back what he spent and more.

"In the end my purpose is to understand and realize everything in this world."

"I have a lot of time in my hands. As long as I stay alive and ready."

From Dragon Bridge to Morthal, it would take about seven to ten days on a normal carriage.

But as he was alone and pretty quick, he believed he should be reaching Morthal in three to four days at most.

After riding fast for two hours and two hours more slowly, he tied his horse to a tree and then sat on the ground.

"It is tiring to ride," he said. Marcus was not used to riding horses; he knew how, but that does not mean he liked it or was used to riding them.

"Now."

"Let's try something."

Marcus then got up and started focusing. He opened his palms and started imagining the spell he wants to cast.

Two seconds later, inside of his palms, a dark-colored small ball manifested and waited for him to activate.

He nodded and then squeezed out the ball and then focused his magicka on the ball; he felt his magicka to be drained for a moment.

"Thirty or something Magicka..." he thought, and then without holding it too much, he targeted the ground in front of himself and shouted the dark energy ball on the ground.

"Wosssshh," with a dark, ethereal voice, a portal to an unknown plane of realm manifested for a second.

Then, the dark portal vanished like it never existed. Seconds later, a wolf, half-real, half-ghost-like, manifested.

Marcus looked at the Spirit Wolf and nodded; he commanded within.

"Right," the spirit wolf went to the right side.

"Left." The Spirit Wolf then moved to the left side.

It was big, much more than dogs or the wolves he saw back on Earth.

"The spiritual aspect is less than what I have seen."

Marcus thought.

It was not a real wolf, but if one did not know about magic much and there was some distance between them and the Spirit Wolf, they would not understand it is a Spirit Wolf but would think it is a real wolf.

He then focused inward to feel more about the Spirit Wolf and then smiled.

"Nice..."

"Thirty Magicka points are spent in return for summoning a Spirit Wolf for three hours, if it is not destroyed."

"According to this logic, if I were to spend one hundred magicka for only one of them, I could summon a wolf for one hour."

Marcus knew that for regenerating one Magicka, he needed to wait for about two to five seconds; if the average is three seconds per one Magicka, it means that he is capable of regenerating one hundred Magicka points in three minutes and ten to fifteen seconds.

"Hmm."

"I am able to regenerate my magicka fully in about five minutes basically."

Marcus then let out a deep breath and tested some of the capabilities of the Spirit Wolf; he made himself accustomed to controlling it.

While he controlled it, he could not help but think about something important.

Why does the conjuration of the creatures from other planes only let him conjure one summon but not two or three?

As Marcus thought about these things, two facts came to his mind that may have something that he may find useful about it.

"Twin Souls Perk."

"Luminal Bridges."

"I am not going to work on reaching a hundred in Conjuration. I am not even sure that Perk exists in the first place."

"But researching Luminal Bridges may give me a better idea on the matter of summoning more than one creature at the same time."

"If I am not wrong. This limitation of summoning one at one time must be some sort of a game limitation."

"If the player were able to summon five or ten or more creatures at the same time, they would be powerful even with just Skeewers."

Marcus thought as he kept on playing with the Spirit Wolf; he made him interact with the world and tried to ride it.

Which was proved to be logical and successful.

He can order Spirit Wolf to use its mouth to bring tree branches and do other things as much as it is capable.

Basically, a servant of his, in the form of a wolf and the wolf is paid in thirty magicka points for three hours of work.

"I am sure that he only gets twenty or something; he must be paying ten magicka to his plane or wherever he lives and controls the plane he is in..."

Marcus laughed as he thought about it and lit up a fire as he ate some dried meat and rested.
