Third Person POV
"Marry me." Damian stared at Sierra.
It seems that he was too stunned to speak. Her voice, asking him to marry her kept ringing in his head.
"Damian..." Sierra snapped him out of his thoughts.
He stared at Sierra again, but this time, he was awakened from his thoughts.
He suddenly released Sierra from his arms and guided her to stand up.
He doesn't know what to do. He didn't know what to think. His mixed emotions were battling within him. He wasn't sure how to react.
"And what? So you could leave me again?" His voice cracked with anger and resentment.
He stared at her, and she stared back at him.
"I know you're hurt but at least—"
"At least what? What, Sierra?" Damian became agitated, cutting her off from what she was about to say.
"You don't even want to hear me." She replied softly and calmly.
She looked straight into Damian's eyes, hoping he could understand her feelings that her eyes couldn't even lie.
"I don't know if I'm ready to hear your excuses." Damian stared straight into her eyes.
They both challenged each other.
Damian's wall was slowly building up in front of her while Sierra was trying to pursue him.
Sierra was about to speak again when an intercom inside Damian's office interrupted them.
"Mr. CEO, your next meeting is in five minutes." The secretary from outside.
They both looked at the intercom and looked back at each other.
The atmosphere became awkward and no one seemed to want to speak first.
"Leave." Damian cut the silence between them with a cold tone.
He turned his back to her, waiting for her to leave.
But Sierra decided to stay. She's determined to talk with Damian now. Because if not today, she would never get a chance again.
Damian laughed sarcastically and looked at her again.
"Aren't you so full of yourself right now? How important are you that I should skip my meeting?" He looked at her mockingly, trying to annoy her.
"You said I'm always the most important thing in your life." Sierra's stubborn words hit him.
"Did you forget that you left me, Sierra? It's been a year and a half for fuck's sake, and now you're trying to enter my life just like that? As if you didn't try to ruin me?" He clenched his fist and shouted to Sierra.
He couldn't control his emotions anymore every time he was talking with Sierra.
Sierra walked towards Damian. You couldn't see any fear in her eyes even though Damian was now getting out of hand.
"But it feels like yesterday to me..." She cupped his face and looked genuinely into his eyes.
"What the fuck! I don't need you anymore!" His anger seemed to grow only because of what Sierra said, acting like a victim in front of him.
"Then what are we right now? What am I to you?" She confusedly asked.
"I didn't force you to have sex with me, Sierra. You like it. You love me fucking you, right?" He said it like he was proud that he could satisfy Sierra's desire.
"I just woke up from a coma, Lovey..." Her voice cracked, revealing the words she had been holding back.
Damian was stunned and speechless. His eyes softened and the wall he's building fell into his feet.
He blinked many times, trying to hold the tears back.
He softly held Sierra by her shoulders and tried to find a word he could say.
"I-I... don't know..." The confident Damian she had been talking to earlier vanished and became the Damian she was hoping for again.
"I tried to talk to you about it many times..." Sierra broke into tears and hit him in his chest.
"No... No... How... Who... I'm sorry..." Damian's words already mixed up, reflecting how his emotions were mixed right now.
He held Sierra's hand and pulled her into his arms, trying to hug her tightly.
"No, baby. I'm sorry..." He didn't know what to say. He wasn't sure of his feelings. But he knew he'd been an idiot for not asking questions to understand their situation.
A sharp knock on the door suddenly separated them from each other.
"Wait for me here, baby." Damian changed his tone. It was soft, and before he kissed her on her forehead.
Sierra didn't speak but stood where Damian had left her, starting to wipe the tears from her cheeks.
"Cancel all my meetings for today." She heard Damian's hurried voice before the door closed again.
"Aren't you a crybaby?" Damian softly pinched her cheeks like he used to do.
Sierra looked at him, amazed, and hugged him tightly again.
"I miss you, Lovey. I thought I would be one of those women who had zero percent chance of ever meeting you again." She said it like a child and tightly hugged Damian.
Damian laughed because he just realized that Sierra didn't seem as mature as he had thought. She really seemed like herself from back then..
"Can you tell me a story?" Damian asked her while walking toward the sofa.
He sat down on the sofa and guided Sierra to sit on his lap.
"Won't anyone see us like this, Lovey?" Sierra's cheeks looked like tomatoes already from how their sitting position was.
They had been love making every day since they met, but Damian had been cold to her back then.
"Honey, your Lovey is a CEO already, not just a small fry trying to flirt with you. Let them see us." He teased her, tucking her hair behind her ear.
"Yeah. But I'm already a mistress, Lovey." Sierra suddenly replied, straight to the point.
Damain stopped what he was doing and came to his senses.
He stared blankly for a second and looked at her again, smiling.
"Don't worry about it. I'll take care of it." He assured her and hugged her again tightly.
"Oh, how I miss you." Damian said while sniffing her.
"Aren't you already thrusting at me every night, Lovey?" Damian chuckled at Sierra's way of teasing him.
He was guilty.
"Are you mad at me for thrusting you?" He joked back at her.
"Nope. I love it. Your touch exploring every inch of me, your kiss sucking my nipples, leaving a mark on my chest..."
Sierra said alluringly, her eyes fixed as she tried to flirt with Damian.
She wasn't disappointed by Damian's reaction. He looked unsettled and uncomfortable, and you could see him sweating.
She grinned as she continued playing with him.
"Your hands circling on my wet—" Damian quickly covered her mouth, cursing under his breath.
"Fuck, baby. You're driving me crazy." Damian shouted and seemed to lose his mind from his desire.
Sierra laughed so hard watching Damian trying to resist his lust.
"I can feel him already, Lovey. Why are you resisting?" She teased even more.
"Stop fucking with me, honey. Or I will..." He threatened but Sierra would love that.
She held him by his collar and touched his lips using hers.
Damian lost control and pressed his lips to her.
