"Mister Nathan, Sir," Peter said as he shook Nathan awake.
Nathan woke up with a pulsating headache. He squinted his eyes as he tried to adjust.
"What happened?" Nathan asked Peter as he helped him sit up.
"They searched your memories. They did the same to a couple of us," Peter explained.
"Memories, the other you I saw on the CCTV camera. I think he creates clones of people he kidnaps," Nathan said as he thought out loud.
"Okay, so how do we defeat him?" Peter asked.
"I don't know but if he can send clones to replace us. There should be a way he sends them through," Nathan said and got up.
He swayed and Peter caught him.
"Are you okay?" he asked.
"I'm fine, let's find a way out of here," Nathan said and headed in the direction of the man and his monster.
Nathan and Peter crouched when they got closer. They got up and peeked at the platform where they had the shrine.
There the man had a heap of clay he was molding. He recited some incantation and the clay mold turned human.
"Wait, I know this. Eeerm, clay made people," Nathan whispered.
"Golem, he is creating golems," Peter said a little loudly and Nathan shused him.
"Any luck you know how to defeat a golem?" Nathan asked and Peter shook his head.
"I did not know they were even real," Peter whispered back.
"I'm guessing they are made of soil so water can wash them away," Nathan suggested with a frown.
"In games, they have a weak point which is mostly their head," Peter suggested.
"If we can defeat the big guy over there. We can force the man to let us go," Nathan said assuring Peter about the plan.
The two hid as they waited for the many to fall asleep. After awhile Peter started to doze off.
Nathan peeked and noticed the man was asleep. His towering golem stared into the abyss as it stayed watch.
Nathan tapped Peter and they both looked around for something to defend themselves with.
They managed to find metal pipes. They slowly climbed the stairs of the platform. They sneaked behind the golem and Nathan hit it in the back of the head.
It turned around unfazed. He swung again and the golem caught the pipe. Peter on the other hand stood there frozen.
The golem yanked the pipe out of Nathan's hand. Using his other hand it smacked him. The force sent Nathan flying into the shrine.
The noise woke the man up. Peter turned tail and ran. Nathan slowly got up as he tried to push past the pain.
"Kill him," the man screamed and the golem charged at Nathan. Tiles broke on impact with every step it took.
It swung at Nathan, but this time he dodged. Unfortunately, when he ducked, a piercing pain shot up his back. This gave the golem a chance to hammer him into the ground.
A sickening crack echoed across the room.
