Rena's PoV
I'm not surprised when I heard Nancy's voice as soon as I stepped out of my room.
I don't know how she does it, but she has an unending supply of energy.
As I got downstairs, I saw that Nancy and the host from yesterday were locked in a staring contest.
His blonde curls were still untamed, and this time, he had a stylish leather jacket that really made him seem like a bad boy.
"Just admit that you are a thief," the guy said, and Nancy scoffed. "Thief? I just took what you owed me. Or did you think that was for free?"
I wondered what they were talking about as the guy's eyes were wide with anger.
After a few seconds, he finally replied. "We both felt something special."
Nancy threw her head back in laughter, and I couldn't help but smile at the familiar sound. Although I couldn't stop thinking of Daisy, I was glad to know that Nancy was in a better mood than yesterday.
