While watching the fight, Sonic suddenly focused and pushed his speed far beyond normal limits. His senses sharpened and his movement accelerated so much that everything around him felt slower. It wasn't time stopping, but his extreme speed perception made the world seem almost frozen for a moment.
Using this burst of hypersonic speed, Sonic rushed forward before Satori could react properly with Mantra.
In a flash, Sonic curled into a Spin Dash and struck Satori in the stomach with powerful force.
The impact sent Satori crashing backward across the cave floor.
When Sonic stopped moving, the world seemed to return to normal speed again.
Monkey D. Luffy, Usopp, and Sanji stared in shock.
Sonic uncrossed his arms and said calmly,
"Guess predicting attacks doesn't help if you can't even see them."

As Luffy, Usopp, Sanji, and Sonic moved deeper into the Upper Yard, they suddenly encountered the Shandians, warriors who were attacking the priests of Skypiea.
Their leader, Wyper, quickly noticed the Straw Hats' boat and mistook them for enemies.
Without hesitation, Wyper launched a powerful attack straight toward the boat.
Before it could hit, Sonic moved instantly.
Using hypersonic speed, he dashed in front of the boat and blocked the incoming strike, deflecting the attack away from the crew.
Sonic looked toward Wyper and said firmly,
"Hey, we're not your enemies."

After escaping the earlier attacks, Monkey D. Luffy, Sanji, Usopp, and Sonic continued traveling along the strange spiral Milky Road through the clouds.
The winding cloud path lifted their small boat higher through the forest of the Upper Yard. Luffy laughed while enjoying the ride, while Sonic ran along the side of the cloud path at high speed, easily keeping up with the moving boat.
Eventually they reached the Execution Platform, where they finally reunited with Roronoa Zoro, Nami, and Nico Robin.
Nearby, they also found their ship, the Going Merry, waiting at the platform above the clouds.

Usopp rushed toward the Going Merry and was shocked to see parts of the ship damaged.
Nearby, Tony Tony Chopper nervously admitted that it happened while he was protecting the ship. He explained that the Sky Knight, Gan Fall, had helped him earlier but was defeated by the priest Shura.
The crew reacted with concern after hearing that someone strong like Gan Fall had been defeated.
Sonic crossed his arms and thought for a moment.
"If that priest fights like Satori," Sonic said calmly, "then I can handle him too."
He looked toward the forest of the Upper Yard, ready if another priest appeared.
Screen 5
The crew decided to split into two teams. One group would stay behind and guard the Going Merry, while another team would search the jungle of the Upper Yard for the treasure connected to Mont Blanc Noland.
Monkey D. Luffy, Roronoa Zoro, and Sonic volunteered to explore the jungle and look for the hidden gold.
Their plan was simple: search the Upper Yard, find the treasure, then regroup with the others and leave the island with riches.
High above the clouds, Enel watched everything with a calm smile.
Using his power and Mantra, he observed the movements of everyone on the island and quietly said,
"Today is going to be… entertaining."
