The students were able to catch their breath and prepare for the next phase in the exam. They took the chance to fix some of their gear, Hamour adjusting his boots as it helps stabilize his footing, Astral adjusted the camera, Poller checked his claws, Senda checked his bracers, as the others also checked their gear and anything else they needed to discuss.
But Goshi was hanging around alone as he was checking his shield and sword as from the reflection of the sword he saw Montrail and her two others behind her as there was another student of Shiketsu high that passed the exam a large man with a silver and black mullet. He looked back as he prepared for what they were going to ask him.
"So this is the leader of class 1a you mentioned Sinclair" the large man asked
"Indeed the one who stood his ground against me, I knew he is one to take note"
Goshi sighed "if your here to talk, then don't list out expectations"
"We know as your class out of every school in class 1a that only has a class with nineteen students. Doesn't that make it suspicious"
"It doesn't matter our class is permanently made, no student cannot go in even if class 1c or below would try to get it, but none of them couldn't"
Montrail smirked again "then introductions to the others" she pointed at Toko Yaomia, and Hajime Zulu as their names were already heard from the intercom as they had the quirks sky step for Yaomia and phantom trail for Zulu. While she pointed at the large student "here is Hontaru Gotha, our muscle and shield, be aware if you get closed to him his iron grip would be trouble that is his quirk iron grip"
"You seemed calm from when we last met"
"I understand that we were opponents, but for the next phase we are to be allies"
"Then getting on my good side would mean connections with the strongest"
Montrail was about to speak, but the intercoms announced everyone to make their way to phase two.
Goshi got up as he waved at them wishing them good luck as he walked away, while Montrail walked away as she gripped her hands but trembled slowly. "Maybe one day Goshi, I will have you all for myself" her teammates noticed and quickly calmed her down as phase two was about to begin.
Goshi headed back to the others as they walked onto a platform as they saw a ruined city. The task of the first to rescue civilians as the nineteen students split off into groups that utilized their quirks, such as Mizuno, Flare, and Kuroda for stability as Mizuno and Flare blushed at the thought of working with Kuroda as he was oblivious to their love.
When they split they started the rescue work and brought them back to the safety zone to ensure the civilians are well handled and talked to ensure a boost of morale. But when there was a civilian with 'a large cut' Doc Doc saw and made a rash decision as he looked at his bandaged arms, he took a deep breath and used his strings and needles not to control but to heal as he stitches the wound and heals it completely. The others were amazed that Doc Doc had that power, knowing that the only healer in UA was Recovery Girl.
"Hey Doc, how come you never told us about your quirk can also do that"
Doc Doc hesitated to speak "we cannot change the subject, we need to take these people back to safety" Doc Doc obviously avoided a touchy subject. Euro and Uni took some back as Poller carried two back to the safety zone.
But then as students brought civilians to safety the announcer told them that a powerful villain was attacking the area.
It was Gang Orca who attacked them charging at the students with his men backing him up. Mizuno suddenly saw multiple enemies approaching them and warned the others.
Goshi and Reiko took charge as Reiko looked at the others "Hamour, you and Sachi distract him" Reiko looked Goshi "do you think you and Blaze can handle the army while other students save civilians"
Goshi nodded as he and Blaze went to fend off the army, and Hamour and Sachi will distract the leader. Montrail noticed Goshi was running off, she had an odd grin on her face as she wanted to help him despite the others protesting her as they needed to fight as a unit as she ran after him.
Students quickly rescue civilians while other students are distracting Gang Orca, and some are trying to defend against the large army Gang Orca has.
Goshi is facing off against an onslaught of enemies as Blaze was at another area fending off against more of them.
Suddenly one of them almost got the drop on him as Montrail intervened saving Goshi with a water blast. Goshi cocked an eyebrow "what are you doing here?"
"I saving you of course it ain't right being a one man army"
"You should head back to you team, they are probably looking for you"
"They can manage themselves as students of Shiketsu high are known to train with high discipline as I can see it in you the most"
"I am flattered, but if this is an attempt to sway me into joining Shiketsu high, then I object. I enjoy my time in UA despite the disadvantages we hold, but make up for it from our adaptation and new way of thinking, that is what makes us nineteen students special in class 1a."
Every word Goshi had spoken gave Montrail a new feeling she had never felt or thought of before. She slowly made her move closer towards Goshi, but before she could speak they heard the announcer speak as it was over and that all civilians had been rescued.
Goshi was glad it was over as he looked back at Montrail seeing her embarrassed face. He didn't know what was happening but gave her a reassuring phrase that they might pass, giving her a bit more relief.
Then as all students regrouped to the center of the stadium now off their hero costumes and stood with the other students as they heard an announcement on the big screen it showed them who passed and who didn't as it was expected that all students of class 1a from UA passed, some from other schools also passed including Montrail.
There was also a scoring of who did the best and who did the least as such Doc Doc, Goshi, and Flare did great in their exams, as some of the scores for some students did struggle a bit and barely passed, such as Aoi, Hamour, and surprisingly Astral as most of her work revolves around taking a photo and blinding her opponents. But it was an under-statement as Gang Orca, a pro hero in the exam. Astral would consider it an opportunity to get some photos of him as it will distract her for most of phase two but also towards him. There were also some students who also passed, and some barely passed such as Montrail after witnessing that she disobeyed an order and broke formation just to help Goshi, but that teamwork with Goshi also saved her from the exam, and Montrail looked at Goshi with a great smile hidden from the others.
With all of them passing they have all officially will soon gain their hero license and become proper heroes.
