It has been a few weeks and the first year is coming to a close, but before they end it off, both teachers of class 1a and 1b. Hayami Quick and Zuno Yakoto held out a joint training exercise being class 1a vs class 1b. All thirty nine students were excited as they explained the rules that there will be five rounds with two teams of four per round against each other, they must restrain or capture the opposing members of a different team, if all team members were caught or time runs out with the remaining students on either teams they get the point.
Everyone was even more thrilled to play. However, class 1a realized that they only had nineteen students and class 1b had twenty, they had the disadvantage with numbers. Before the teachers could speak Doc Doc and Kuroda raised their hands as they had an idea.
"Is there something you want to show us?"
Then suddenly they heard clunky footsteps approaching them, they looked to see it was Randomizer who was standing, as he waved at them. "Hello… friends… here"
The others were shocked to see Randomizer, an amalgamation of other's quirks that class 1a had to make for the UA sports festival, is back to help class 1a.
"Why is that thing here, again?" Takane said, disgusted by the sight.
"You see after the event, he followed me back to my house and I've been helping him ever since and Kuroda found out later during our practice for the finals"
"So that's explained why Midnight was defeated by you two" Hayami crosses his arms.
Doc Doc and Kuroda nodded as they have kept it a secret, but Mizuno and Flare secretly blushed mostly towards Kuroda to think he was bold enough to keep something like this a secret.
"Then I will allow Randomizer to join us, since we are missing a student"
The others celebrated as Randomizer attempted to mimic them celebrating with them. Then since each class now has twenty students they can now start the joint combat training exercise starting with the first team for the match as everyone has their own hero costume and Randomizer has his own as it is only the things he was built from.
First round class 1a:

The tension of these teams in the first round already felt heavy as each had their unique quirks that blatantly contrast to one another in some way. Before the round starts both teams need to search for the opposing teams as they will both be far away from each other and transported near their base where there is a cage.
At class 1a base Aoi, Hino, and Astral already voted for Reiko to be team leader as she is the best choice for them.
"Alright let's assess the situation, we both now saw how class 1b quirks has and for this team we're up against Reiner may be our most dangerous opponent as he feels more the opposite to Aoi." Reiko looked at Aoi "you can produce pollen to knock them out in some way, as they think our supports would be our main advantage with Mayo as our main offense"
"But what if they go after me, you did say I'm the only offense attack in the team"
"Your correct though I am not Mizuno, I should be on your side as I can detect structural weaknesses"
The team had a solid plan as they seemed to be relying on Reiko's planning as they were going to capture Reiner first. They split off into two as Astral hid and Aoi released her pollen ensuring to get their attention, while Reiko and Hino went together. However, splitting off was their mistake as one of Haku's eyes already saw their predicted movements as she was standing on a platform made from Rina's object shift.
While a large cloud of pollen surrounded a part of the arena it was suddenly getting blown away. Aoi looked to see it was Sketch using his tendrils to blow away the pollen by wafting his tendrils away as behind was Reiner spitting toxic sludge at her. It was immediately blasted away thanks to Hino intervening, Astral quickly uses her camera to blind the two as they quickly run into the pollen. Reiner was annoyed as he spat out more sludge at them into the pollen. But the others were wearing masks that Aoi always prepared with as within the pollen Hino danced and blasted more projectiles at them as behind the enemy Reiko tackled Reiner from behind into the pollen as it got into his system knocking him out.
"Aoi got him locked up." But suddenly a tendril extended and Reiko was grabbed from her feet and was dragged. Aoi quickly dragged Reiner as the others took off after Sketch. But he ran off with Reiko when he walked up the platforms made by Rina, taking Reiko, as of now each team has one member locked up.
Hino and Astral quickly regroup with Aoi as they just got their leader captured and are at a huge disadvantage as they saw what the three in class 1b have but they never saw what Shimizine can do.
"Alright, do you know what we can do?"
"I'm not sure, without Reiko we're at a disadvantage"
"Wait guys I think I can do something" they both looked at Aoi "just be sure to wear your masks"
Elsewhere Rina regrouped with Shimizine as Sketch is being their bodyguard. "Do you see them?"
"I do, one of my eyes spotted a large displacement of pollen from a far"
"Then it must be Pollen Bee trying again"
"That's not what I meant, but I also see another displacement of pollen to the right and left"
"How is that possible Aoi isn't fast enough to make more pollen in different areas at once"
"Perhaps she created those clouds of pollen to obscure my vision, but little did they know that each eye have their uses and one of them can see through her pollen"
Then Shimizine uses one of her four eyes to see in the pollen crowds starting with the first one that is heading towards them seeing it was obviously Aoi recognizing from her heat signature. Sketch prepares his tendrils to capture Aoi, but then shards of glass are being fired from the pollen cloud expecting to see Aoi. Sketch narrowly dodges the shards, as the others become confused, Shimizine checks the pollen cloud in the middle and still saw Aoi's heat signature, but it didn't make sense as those glass shards came from Astral's quirk. Shimizine looked at the other two pollen cloud and was even more confused as all pollen clouds had the same heat signature.
"That's impossible" she tried to check again, but then a camera was thrown at her as it created a blinding flash on her four eyes.
Rina noticed and quickly tried to help her, but a barrage of blast quickly separated her as Aoi grabbed Shimizine from one of the pollen clouds and ran back in. Sketched looked back and quickly tried to grab Aoi, but then shards and blast were thrown at him from the same pollen cloud, he had no choice but to retreat. But that was their plan as Rina tried to make platforms for Sketch to climb upon they noticed shards of glass were everywhere as Astral suddenly ran at them and held her camera at them. She clicked her camera as the blinding light started to make the shards of glass also react to the camera's flash as it light up the glass shards creating an even bigger blinding light, the two can't see as Hinson blasted them from behind and They fell off from the platform and Ali made them inhale her pollen knocking them out and waking up in a cage with the other two.
Class 1a took the win for the first round they celebrated for their efforts.
"Check it out Yakoto, they managed to outsmart your students despite losing theirs"
"I can see that Slip, and I understood why they relied on Aoi's pollen"
Then other students looked at Aoi and wondered why Shimizine's eyes were not working when she uses one of her eyes to see heat signature and only got Aoi but not the others.
"Well it's because of how my pollen was produced, my body is how I make it and it's always warm and by applying it onto the other's clothes it still had my warmth on it"
"So wait is it also you sweat"
Aoi shook her head "it's just something I can produce from my body"
Hayami then walked over "well what matters is that you guys adapted despite losing one of your teammates, but you did good."
Next is the second round of the match

With the new teams for round two, they knew they cannot underestimate each other as they were brought to a large area that is surrounded by pipes as it covers most of the light the further they go in.
Fennal started with the paths he created, letting the others walk on, as Mizuno kept watch, ensuring there wouldn't be any ambush by the other team.
But it already started as their original plan was to separate the twins first and pick them off one by one, but Miru intervened first as he rolled into a ball at high speed and leaped off a ramp and destroyed the path they were using causing them to fall to the ground.
At the ground, Hamour and Mondo quickly got up as they saw a large ball rolling towards them. Mondo quickly threw his power balls at him but it didn't do anything "stupid armadillo shell"
"Then maybe I can help", Hamour looked at the pole as he slammed his head onto the pole making the pipes fall down onto Miru. Mizuno saw the pipes falling down, and quickly told the others to follow her as she can see where the pipes will be following. They made a tactical retreat, but then they also felt a subtle tremor, they looked up and saw pipes following and falling down on them.They narrowly dodged the pipes, but they were separated, Mizuno and Fennal were on one side, and Mondo and Hamour were on the other side.
"You guys okay!"
"Yeah but we need to regroup!"
But then Mizuno saw Miru rolling towards them, Fennal quickly created a path for them to run. While Mondo and Hamour ran to find their way back to the others, but as they ran, they didn't expect to be already confronted by the twins.
"look what we have here bro"
"I see it bro, some lost heroes trying to regroup"
"let's stop them"
"Sure thing brother"
The twins Tsubasa and Takumi at the two, Mondo quickly threw his power ball as the twins moved in sync away from the attacks he threw. They landed a few hits on him as their synchronized quirk tag team allows them to increase their abilities when they fought together, and can be held if separated.
"Toji!" Hamour smashed his head on the ground and created a massive shock wave that knocked them away.
Elsewhere Mizuno and Fennal were running faster than Miru could roll as Mizuno can see where he would try to strike as Fennal can create multiple paths. But suddenly as they headed to the ground a splash of lemon juice was thrown at them, Fennal dodged it but some of the lemon juice was splashed into Mizuno's eyes as it stung and hurt her eyes really badly, making her unable to fight.
The others who saw it from the other side while watching a scream felt bad for Mizuno as getting sprayed in the eyes with lemons really hurts.
Back to the fight, Fennal saw and quickly looked at Kaoru as he quickly snapped his fingers as many objects had objects above it as he calls this move: path launcher. Fennal fired multiple objects at Kaoru, but Miru shielded him from the attack using his large armadillo shell to block it.
Then Hamour was suddenly overwhelmed by the twin's teamwork and coordination, Mondo tried to get up but was badly injured from their fight. Hamour had no choice as he swung full hard into the ground creating a large shockwave that rattled everything, but the twins leaped away as the pipes fell on them.
Elsewhere Fennal was overwhelmed by the others as all four were taken due to exhaustion and energy loss giving this round to class1b.
They were surprised at how fast the round went as they didn't expect that Miru could roll that fast or how he can also create shockwaves like Hamour's hammer strikes. But not only that, they also underestimate the twin's synchronization with each other that was on them.
"So my students can prove that they can win"
"Yes, Yakoto they can, which means my students will need to adapt even harder in the next round"

Senda saw his name and saw the other teams names and knows he is going to fight his twin sister, he feels he cannot hold back against family but something tells him that his sister isn't going to do the same. But then he felt a pat on the back by Blaze with a sharp smile filled with confidence as it does help with his confidence a bit.
Then both teams were brought to their location as they first discussed a plan.
"Hey Senda, how different is your sister?"
"It's a complete 180, my compression foam was built for defence and support, while my sister's quirk is reverse tank as she can store in kinetic energy and release it to either become offensive or give it to others."
Blaze crosses his arms "so it's like mine where the more damage I take the powerful I become"
"Yes and no, she must absorb it first, and it has to be energy not from physical attacks"
"So we have the advantage"
Senda nodded "this match is clearly physical focus combat for us and the others"
They then split off into two groups with Uni and Poller going as one team, and Senda and Blaze going as another. Senda didn't waste time as he began creating alternate paths from his foam hardening, intentionally giving themselves away as Blaze took watch. But then they felt a vibration below their feet, as suddenly Blaze spotted Rindo, and took charge but didn't activate body heat as he punched her but it was only an illusion.
"Damn, this must be Rindo's mirage skin"
"You think it's a problem"
"Not really, they are not strong but are deceptive, they want me to use my quirk and overexert myself. This could also include for the others"
"Well, I just hope the others are doing okay"
Meanwhile, Uni is bouncing around from her slinky legs avoiding some thread, as Poller locked hands with Rosara as she transformed her hands into a minotaur's arms and hands to match Poller's polar bear strength.
"You're really dumb for you to go alone" Poller took a step forward making Rosara step back once.
"Oh really, because I am the only one who can keep a pair with you" as she suddenly grew a long snake's tail that suddenly grabbed Poller's leg and wings sprouted from her back showing a bright orange colour and flew high while carrying Poller. She then threw Poller down to the ground, he felt the impact and it did hurt. Uni saw her friend was in danger and quickly headed to help him, but she narrowly dodged a scorpion's tail and looked to see Rosara changed her tail and arm to have the ability of a scorpion.
Elsewhere, Senda and Blaze felt the impact from afar and must have learned Poller and Uni are in danger. They tried to run but they were stopped by a thread they nearly touched, they stopped and Senda threw a rock showing the thread can make a vibration blast launching the rock away.
"This is Velan's work"
"Yeah, like your foam"
Suddenly they heard footsteps approaching them as they saw Mirei, and Rindo approaching them.
"Hello brother, it's been a while, having fun with your friends" she waved at Senda.
Blaze tapped Senda's shoulder "go find Velan, I can take care of these two"
Senda nodded and ran as Blaze stepped forward "I'm going to stop this thing with family and just say that this fight is between you two and me" he put himself into a fighting stance as a small glimmer of heat started to emit from his body.
Meanwhile, Uni is avoiding Rosara's scorpion tail from getting stung as she quickly maneuvered with bouncing from his legs and extended her arms to latch onto pipes and threw some pipes at her. Poller then got from the ground as cracks his necks and his knuckles still feeling the impact from that attack. He then looked to see Uni facing against as the sight of a scorpion's tail and claws suddenly gave Poller a sense of dread he felt from his spine.
Poller shows hesitation to help, remembering a faint glimpse of his past, seeing his younger self working alongside a villain with a scorpion villain with other mutants like him. A place of territory that is run by poison-based quirk users and remembering the faint screams of people getting stung and seeing their bodies becoming numb. His breath became even more unstable as he froze in fear by the sight of the scorpion tail.
Uni noticed Poller's sudden hesitation, and had to take matters into her own hands, as she led Rosara to a different part of the area where it opened.
"What's this, a more open area to expose yourself?"
Uni smirked and shook her head "no, because it allows me to do this!' Uni hopped back and started to breakdance, as she extended her limbs to reach far and wide while swirling in a cyclone motion. "Prepare to meet; Slink Hurricane!" With her limbs spinning in a circular motion it was hard to get through her defences. Rosara tried to fly and get close to her, but she narrowly avoided a hand reaching towards her, but then was swiftly kicked by an incoming swing from her leg.
Elsewhere, Blaze managed to get his motion as he managed to keep his body from overexertion. Blaze is keeping his body to a minimal temperature as he has a device strapped on his back that can regulate his temperature. Though with every illusion he shattered from Rindo's quirk doesn't affect his body as most are weak, that doesn't mean that Mirei would try to gain energy despite not being able to absorb energy from any close range fighter.
Blaze cracked his knuckles "you know even if I cannot find Rindo, I can still take down Senda's sister" as Blaze started to charge at Mirei.
Meanwhile, Senda is having trouble searching for Velan, but then across a path he sees Poller still standing, shocked in fear. He quickly got his attention, but smacking him from the back of his head, Poller snapped away from his fear.
He looked at Senda while scratching the back of his head, "Senda did something happened"
"No but it looked like you were having a nightmare" Poller raised his eyebrow, Senda sighed for now "never mind, look I need you help in tracking down Velan. You think you can sniff her out?"
Poller nodded "of course, show me if there are thread around" Senda noticed there was thread to their right and pointed it to Poller.
Poller sniffed the thread and found the scent and pointed towards the direction of Velan. They ran as Poller followed the scent trail as it was far away, expected since Velan can create the thread and be far away. But as they ran, they heard Uni still fighting Rosara as Uni grabbed her and threw her to the ground, but it wasn't enough. Rosara gets up from the ground ready for a second round, but Poller threw a pipe at her head, and Senda fired his foam at Rosara covering his chest and arms, she was immobilized.
"Uni, take Rosara. Me and Poller will continue after Velan"
Uni nodded and grabbed Rosara with one hand, and uses her legs to bounce far while taking the enemy away. While Poller and Senda were running as Poller was still on the trail. But then Poller got another scent and it was from Rindo.
He looked to his right and Senda stopped and looked at him "Poller what happened?"
"I smell Rindo, you go get Velan" then Poller ran to a different direction as Senda continued the path ahead.
Velan and Rindo knew they were spotted as they each separately tried to make their escape. But Rindo from her side saw a bright burning glow, while hearing Poller's growl getting closer, while Velan was being thrown pipes at her, but Uni who already locked up Rosara. Velan tried to make her escape, but her feet were caught in some foam set up by Senda. Rindo tried to distract Poller with mirages, but due to a lack of light it was nearly impossible. Then Rindo was closed in line by Blaze, she fell to the ground defeated, Blaze gave a wave to Poller as he was still holding Mirei in his arms. Later they locked up the remaining enemies giving class 1a another point.
