Jay's POV
Morning came softly.
Warm sunlight slipped through the curtains and flickered across my face, gently pulling me out of sleep. For a moment I just lay there, staring at the ceiling as the realization slowly hit me.
Today was the day.
Today I was moving in with Keifer.
Excitement rushed through my chest and I immediately jumped out of bed.
The first thing I did was start packing the last few things in my room. Most of my clothes were already inside the suitcase from last night, but I carefully folded the remaining ones and placed them inside too.
Honestly… I had packed everything.
I didn't plan on coming back anytime soon.
Once the suitcase was fully packed, I grabbed the only pair of clothes that were still outside and placed them near the bathroom sink.
Then I stepped inside the washroom to take a quick bath.
The warm water helped calm my racing heart, but my excitement refused to fade. Every few seconds my mind kept replaying the same thought.
Keifer is coming today.
After finishing my bath, I wrapped a towel around myself and opened the bathroom door.
I had completely forgotten to bring my clothes inside.
But that didn't bother me much.
No one ever entered my room without knocking.
Or so I thought.
I stepped out casually—
And froze.
Sitting comfortably on my bed was Keifer.
My eyes widened.
"KEIFER?!"
He leaned back slightly, completely relaxed, watching me.
His gaze slowly moved from my face to the towel wrapped around me.
Then he smirked.
"I told you," he said casually, "you would look better without your clothes."
My face turned bright red.
"Why are you in my room?!" I whisper-yelled.
"Your brother let me in," he replied innocently.
Before I could react, he suddenly stood up and walked toward me.
In two quick steps he was standing right in front of me.
His hands slid around my waist.
"Keifer—"
But he pulled me closer and kissed me.
First my lips.
Then slowly down to my neck.
My heart started beating wildly.
"Keifer— stop," I whispered, pushing him slightly.
He looked at me, amused.
"We are at Kuya's house," I reminded him.
He sighed dramatically.
"You ruin all the fun."
I rolled my eyes.
"Turn around."
He raised an eyebrow but obeyed.
While he faced the wall, I quickly grabbed my clothes and changed.
When I finished, he turned back around and smiled.
"Ready?"
"Almost."
He picked up my suitcase effortlessly.
"Let's go."
