I lift my head at the sound of knocking.
"Yeah?"
"Yo ■■■■ have you seen this weird accont on the network?"
Effie opens the door with her, a weird account? Those are pretty common. She rolls her away over to me and shows me her communicator.
"Oh that's my account"
She stares at me dumbfounded
"I'm sorry its what"
Weird question
"Its my account, my old one got deleted so I made a new one"
I wave my hand going back to making a simple PTV part out of ice.
"You've been commenting on horny posts about yourself.....?"
I nod, their about me, why wouldnt I comment on them. She starts laughing, really hard too. Weird.
"I- I'm sorry, you, you commenting on fanfics about yourself, or down bad art of yourself- thats insane!"
She keeps laughing
"Why exactly is it so odd? Its about me"
She laughs harder
"I'm sorry. Holy shit"
She laughs for a bit longer as I keep on with what I was doing.
I keep going Effies watching me with mild disinterest
"...Oh yeah, Effie. So in the dream realm whenever it gets close to raining I get a weird feeling in my arms. So you know what thats about?"
She gets confused
"What kind of weird"
I wave my hands
"They kinda hurt, but like in a weird way"
She stares at me for a second
"Wait did you burn yourself when trying to put sunny out?"
I nod
"Its divine flame, even im not immune to that"
"Its the scars, they hurt whenever it rains"
I glance over confused
"What"
"Yeah scars hurt when it rains."
I sigh heavily
"Well i do hope they go away when I become a master....."
I come out of the room to effie eating. Oh she didnt get food for me, I mean im a adult i dont need to have foo-
"■■■■ stop just standing there and eat dipshit"
Oh she did get me food, thats really nice but why would she do so? I mean-
"And say thank you"
Oh shit
"Oh sorry, thank you"
She laughs
"Yeah i know"
I walk over and I sit on the couch taking my food as I do. I start eating
"You sit weird"
I look over
"okay?"
"Yeah like real weird, why?"
I look around
"It's comfortable?" She stares at me then shrugs and goes back to eating.
"You do you then I guess"
As im eating Effie speaks up
"Yo, you still have those boots right?"
I nod
"Can I have them, I mean im the only one of us who has nothing to glide or fly with"
I shrug putting my hand out she takes it and I give her the feather boots
"You have to be on a solid surface for it to work"
She nods summoning them
"Maybe ill use them as a symbol, like you and those wings of yours"
I look up
"The winged boots are a symbol of Hermes not Athena"
She laughs
"You had a weird phase about Greek mythology, I forget you had that phase"
I dig in my satchel taking out some jerky. I toss some over to effie who looked over when she smelled it.
"Oh yeah that reminded me. What kind of nightmare creatures are in the.... chain isles anyways?"
I nod taking a bite
"Okay okay, there was this weird island that was dangerous but sun killed the thing on it... but it was maybe that voice in sun head that I dont think exists"
"What was on it?"
I forgot to mention that
"A thing that could like copy humans and echos and stuff. Next theres a lake that you shouldnt go close to as even saint white feather is scared of it. Im suspicious but im not testing it"
She nods
"Evil creature in the lake, classic"
I nod
"classic. Theres a island with a field of flowers, if you go in you fall asleep and die"
She gets a look
"Oh? I wonder, you think it was a love story or something more"
Weird
"Nah, its something more tragic, its the dream realm after all"
She nods
"Yeah but still, buzzkill"
Thats also weird
"oh yes and the two citadels are the sanctuary and the night temple. The night temple isnt open to the public and all that."
I clean up the mess from dinner
"Oh yeah effie, what kind of stuff have you been hunting?"
She smiles
"Oh yeah, I've been hunting some big stuff, i even killed a fallen devil by myself!"
I look over
"Damn, a fallen devil? Kick ass"
"Yeah I've been killing a ton of fallen beasts too, I've been doing pretty damn good"
I nod
"Me and sun have been doing some hunting of our own, although we've mostly been selling whatever we get"
She rolls over
"Really? What's the highest ranking thing youve killed so far?"
"We teamed up to kill a fallen tyrant, the thing was pretty far out on the isles"
I go back to my craft room going back to trying to make a simple PTV part, so far its decent but its still too messy to really use. My plan is to make a working PTV using ice, and to make it move using ice manipulation.
If I'm able to do so then Divine Flame would be able to attack, while im still able to keep on the move. So far its been messy but I've been making progress. Although its going too slow for my personal liking, I have to keep in mind that it could take months or even years to learn how to make a normal PTV. Its annoying really annoying
