19 years later…
He was a leader, a chieftain. Millions of Shatterers attended his funeral, including generals, commanders, and warriors. Silence fell, and flags fluttered. His death left a void in the heart of every Shatterer.
Afterward, darkness descended, and the Shatterers grew cruel to one another. Rebel factions emerged, as if they knew the reason for the leader's death. Anxiety gripped the land: Who would rule the Shatterers' realm? Would the other kingdoms remain at peace, or were wars looming?
Meanwhile, a young man stood silently, anger and sorrow filling his blue eyes. Some saw him as Argon's successor, but some generals saw him differently—a youth who didn't understand the complexities of politics.
He entered his father's room and found a letter written before his death: "My son, if you are reading this, it means I am no longer here. Look for your mother and brother. I know they will run away, afraid of the saboteurs. And I know you won't be able to control them. There are many complicated matters..." You won't be able to resolve them, and I warn you...
The letter was incomplete; it didn't explain everything.
Scott suddenly entered. "Hello... Lloyd, what are you doing here?"
"Nothing, just some papers."
"Well, this isn't your place. We're going to close this room for a few days and then clear the President's things out."
"I want to ask you something, Mr. Scott."
"Come on, hurry up. We have other things to do."
"Do you have any idea where my mother and brother are?"
Scott's face turned angry. "Listen, I don't want to hear this nonsense."
Then he turned away… Lloyd's anger roared, "Hey! Listen, you have no right to speak about the kings's wife like that!" Scott paused, then turned to Lloyd. "Listen, you…" he said, "if you want your mother, go find her. I don't have time for you now."
Lloyd gathered his belongings and left the kingdom, embarking on a new journey fraught with hidden secrets.
Lloyd left the kingdom, ignoring the destruction raging within.
A week later,
Lloyd found a remote village nestled among green mountains. He entered the village and found the people seemingly untouched by the destruction wrought by the Breakers. Peace and security enveloped the village. as he walked through its large center.
"I'm sorry, take what I have and don't kill me."
"Listen, we've come from the South and we don't want to start a war. Just give us money and provisions." There were five men whose appearance suggested they were highwaymen.
"What? Huh? From the South? Are these scoundrels from the Forbidden?" Lloyd wondered.
While the merchant was giving them what money and provisions he could, a girl with flowing brown hair and golden eyes approached. "Hey, stop right there! What do you think you're doing, you fool?"
The merchant looked at her fearfully, swallowing hard. "Don't do that. They'll kill us, Shira." One of the five men looked at her with a mocking laugh. "Hahaha, you're beautiful," he said, then moved closer. "Listen, darling, you have a lovely face, and some of us guys don't want to stain it... with blood."
Shira stood frozen, as if utterly terrified, while Lloyd watched. The five of them got into the car. "We'll be back any minute," one of them shouted, "and this time the girl will be my prey, haha." They drove off. Lloyd approached the girl, saying, "Hey, don't worry, they won't do anything to you. Trust me."
She looked at him with a tearful, sorrowful gaze. Lloyd hugged her, saying, "This isn't going to be a lucky day for him..."
