Chapter 4 - I'm waiting for them..

Lloyd decided to stay in the village for a few days.

The next morning, Shira was surprised to find Lloyd standing by her father's shop. He was leaning back, his expression one of determination and readiness.

"Good morning, Father. Oh, how are you, my dear?"

"I'm fine. What's going on here?"

"Ah, this stranger offered to help me... hehe."

Happiness spread across her face. Lloyd remained standing, waiting for them.

Three days later, a traveler arrived in the village carrying provisions and goods for sale. It turned out he was an old friend of Shira's father. "Oh, how are you, Bong? It's been a long time."

"I'm fine, thank you."

"Oh, my friend, I heard your shop was robbed. How unfortunate!"

"Don't worry, I'll make up for my loss soon."

"That's what we hope for." Then he looked at Lloyd and found him indifferent.

"And who is this young man? Is he your son?" "No, no, just a passerby who wanted to help us."

"Oh, that's good. Well, I'll continue on my way. See you later, Bong."

Lloyd muttered, "Hmm, doesn't that seem a bit strange? Maybe not..." Then, around noon, a suspicious car pulled up and stopped in the middle of the village. Two men got out, and without a word or a sound, the villagers fearfully began giving them supplies and money.

Lloyd stood up, saying, "No, no, not while I'm here. Listen... put the things on the ground, pick up your car, and leave the village if you're a peacemaker."

The two men turned to him with mocking looks. "Ha! And who do you think you are, you scoundrel? Come on, put the things in the car and don't listen to what this idiot is saying."

"Maybe you don't understand what I'm saying. Some of you are just too stubborn."

Lloyd moved forward, increasing his speed with each step. One of them growled fearfully, "Listen, don't come any closer! I'm warning you!" Lloyd scoffed, "Blush... your warning doesn't concern me." He then hurled a sharp machete at Lloyd, who, with surprising speed, dodged it and suddenly appeared before him. A kick to the stomach sent him crashing against the wall like a lifeless corpse. He glanced at the other man out of the corner of his eye, terrifying him. Before he could move, Lloyd reappeared with incredible speed.

The blow wasn't that powerful to knock him down like that, was it? He swallowed hard, asking, "Are... are you human or what?" Lloyd interrupted him, saying, "Hey, don't ramble on. Just pick up your friend and leave for good. And don't forget I let you off the hook this time. Next time... I'd better not tell you." Amidst a heroic scene and the cheers of the villagers for Lloyd, the two men scurried out of the village, humiliated.

Silence fell over the village after the two thieves left. The villagers gathered around, whispering amongst themselves, some with admiration, others with fear. One of the village elders approached Lloyd, saying admiringly, "We owe you, young man. You saved us from those cowards." Lloyd stared at the spot they had left from, speechless. Shira thought to herself, "Thank you for what you've done."

Two days later, a cloud of dust appeared on the horizon. Five black cars sped like hungry tigers toward the village. A boy from the village noticed and ran to warn the villagers. As he ran, a shot rang out. The boy was wounded in the leg and fell to the ground, crying and terrified. One of Chief Vasco's men caught him, and they continued on their way to the village. They arrived at the village, and the man called Vasco got out. He was huge and wore dark glasses, dressed in what looked like military fatigues. He approached one of the village elders with heavy, menacing steps, a cigarette in his mouth, and said, "Where's that bastard, huh?"

The old man replied with a trembling voice, "Who are you talking about? I... I don't know..." Vasco looked at him with a merciless gaze, then slapped him twice without pity. The old man began to groan as if drawing his last breath.

Then he said, "You're all scum..."

Then he appeared... "You arrogant fool!" Everyone looked around, wondering who it was. One of Vasco's men shouted, "Sir, he's there! He's there!" Then he looked at Lloyd, who was standing on a rock at a slight height. Vasco smiled maliciously and said, "Heh." Then he looked at the two thieves who had been expelled from the village earlier. "Is this him? Is this the person?" One of them quickly replied, "Yes, this is him." The huge man raised his eyes to Lloyd, a cold smile spreading across his face. "Well, boy, you've broken my men," he said, then drew a long sword. "Now I'll break your bones."

Lloyd climbed down from the rock. "So you're from the South," he said. Vasco retorted with disgust, "And what's it to you?" One of his men said in a low, insecure voice, "Sir, this fellow doesn't look ordinary."

In an instant, he appeared before one of the men and, with a punch between the eyes, smashed his head open in a bloody scene. The man fell dead. Vasco's eyes widened, and he tightened his grip on his sword. Then, one of Vasco's men attacked Lloyd, and with the skill of a seasoned fighter, he snapped the man's neck. Someone shouted in alarm, "He's so fast!" Before he could finish, Lloyd reappeared behind him in the blink of an eye, grabbed his head, and smashed it open, killing him too.

One blow, two, three, and in less than 15 seconds, half of Vasco's men were on the ground. Vasco took a step back, and He gripped his sword. "Wait, who are you?"

lloyd glanced at Vasco out of the corner of his eye. "I already told them not to come back... I won't forgive anyone now."
