"Of course."
"As you can see, it currently possesses extremely powerful regenerative abilities. For example, like this..."
As she said that, Maya Hansen picked up a small pair of scissors and cut off one of the plant's leaves.
Then, right before Killian's eyes, the damaged area began to glow with an orange-yellow light. A highly unusual substance started spreading outward from the wounded section, gradually expanding until it fully covered the severed area.
Only then did the orange-yellow glow fade.
And the leaf Maya had just cut off regenerated completely in only a few seconds.
It was as if it had never been injured at all.
"Amazing!"
"This is absolutely unbelievable."
Looking at the plant in front of him, Killian could not help but stand up and walk over, carefully touching the newly regrown leaf.
It felt like watching someone create an atomic bomb out of thin air right in front of you.
This kind of shock was impossible to truly understand unless you saw it with your own eyes.
"But the only problem right now is that after the modification, although its body has been strengthened to a certain extent, it is also filled with too much unstable high-intensity energy. One mistake and it will explode."
"Although it can recover afterward, that instability still exists."
"However, next I'll use telomerase calculations to strengthen its cellular structure, allowing its body to withstand and contain more energy."
"And most importantly, based on the calculations, this kind of enhancement is highly feasible."
"If we succeed in getting past this stage, then in later human trials, it should be able to strengthen the human body itself and even regenerate severed limbs, turning someone into a super soldier."
Seeing her proud creation being praised by her future boss, Maya Hansen immediately pressed the advantage and continued.
She wanted Killian to believe that her technology was mature. The only real difference was that it had not yet entered biological trials.
As long as things continued like this and everything went smoothly, within at most a year she could transform a human body into something as powerful as Captain America.
Possibly even stronger.
"Excellent. Hearing your description, I can practically already see that day arriving."
"Keep it up. In a moment, I'll have my secretary arrange a place for you to settle in first, then she'll take you to the dedicated laboratory."
"The company will handle the rest of the handover for you."
"If anything comes up during the process, you can come to me anytime."
After hearing Maya Hansen out, Killian started clapping and spoke with visible satisfaction.
The future of Extremis was already clear to him. Its success was practically inevitable.
And right now, Killian was already impatient to see the day Extremis fully matured. At that point, if he could create a Tyrant fused with both the T-Virus and Extremis, possessing an overwhelmingly powerful undying body, just imagining it was enough to make him excited.
And if he later managed to get the Blacklight Virus too, the one that could devour everything, Killian could hardly imagine how terrifying that combination would become.
On top of that, this world already had Steve's Super Soldier Serum, Banner's Hulk serum, and even Spider-Man's spider serum.
If he could get all of those too...
At that thought, Killian's gaze grew serious.
Then he returned to his office.
He needed to carefully plan which talents and serums from these future events could be used.
So far, aside from Steve's Super Soldier Serum project, which had already passed and was difficult to get now, the other two, if Killian remembered correctly, had not started yet.
And as for the Super Soldier Serum project, both Hydra and the government were still continuing their research in secret.
Most importantly, Killian remembered that right now, in Hydra's Antarctic base, there was a talent he needed: Dr. Wilfred Nagel.
This guy had the same kind of personality as Samuel Sterns, and both were the type of absolute geniuses who did not care which force they worked for, as long as someone gave them the conditions to research.
In the MCU, this man worked for Hydra, then the government, and then the Flag Smashers, switching sides three times without it affecting him at all.
The only pity was that he was currently in Antarctica, and Killian's influence did not reach that far yet.
As for the Hulk project, based on the timeline, it began in 2001, so it probably had not been formally launched yet. Killian vaguely remembered that Hulk was born in 2005, then spent years on the run until 2008, when he fought Abomination in New York and then entered S.H.I.E.L.D.'s view, after which he was quietly protected by them.
As for the spider serum project, that too had been another attempt to recreate the Super Soldier Program, with the U.S. government, military, and private tech companies all pouring in manpower and resources.
Among them, Oscorp, in order to recreate the perfect serum, turned its attention to insects, hoping to gain useful experimental samples through insect testing. By sheer coincidence, that eventually led to the creation of the super spider, the same one that later bit Peter Parker and turned him into Spider-Man.
Even Dr. Connors' Lizard came from this serum, ultimately creating an underground lizard kingdom with human intelligence.
The development potential of this serum was also extremely great. With it, one could theoretically create an entire kingdom of intelligent organisms.
Unfortunately, that serum too was still only at the laboratory stage, and Peter Parker himself was probably not even born yet.
Still, it was something worth watching.
If Killian guessed correctly, Peter Parker's father should currently still be at Norman Osborn's company, researching a Super Soldier Serum intended to cure his family's hereditary illness.
That thought immediately sparked a few plans in Killian's mind.
At the moment, all of these were things he could plot around.
He believed that if he placed the T-Virus data in front of the military, then cooperating with them to develop the Hulk project should not be difficult.
And as for Norman Osborn...
At that thought, a playful smile appeared on Killian's face.
...
Meanwhile...
At the entrance to the laboratory on the Miami research island,
the roar of heavy engines gradually approached from the distance.
Then more than a dozen heavily loaded trucks arrived one after another and stopped in the open area outside the laboratory.
At that point, one of the men dressed like a foreman climbed down from a truck. After exchanging a few words with Samuel Sterns, who was in charge on-site, he waved his hand.
Immediately, twenty or thirty workers climbed down from the trucks in turn. Under the foreman's direction, they began dismantling the various high-precision electronic instruments inside the storage area, packing them up, and carefully carrying them down piece by piece.
