Yeah i have been facing all my previous opponents in my base state without mana moving through my body as a way to train myself, well not anymore.
But it wasn't such a good idea because immediately i unlock myself it eyes lit up like it just upgrade me from a chew toy to an instresting snack. I didn't like that at all.
I didn't wait for it to move,i moved first,i ran so fast i was sure any B rank human would immediately decide to give up the chase, unfortunately it wasn't B rank and it was most definitely not human because even at my top speed i could feel it breathe close to my neck.

I didn't ask why,I just dive down and thank God i did because a second later I heard it Jaws close shut and it landed in front of me. It would seem it jumped at my neck,I didn't even wait a second i just rode the force of it landing and trun in another direction and being another dash.
I guess i was not the only one that understood the need for speed because about 8 seconds since i started running i could hear it behind me.

I understood the assignment and face my left with both my arms covering the upper part of my body while i jumped up. When he struck i was sent flying, which was the plan but the amount of force and pain well let just say my grandpa has been going easy on me during our sparing section,i think i might have fainted a little,if that was somehow possible.
I smashed into the floor and bounced a few times then was stopped by a tree, immediately i stopped i jumped away as i saw the jaw of literal death coming for my head.
I got some few seconds of headstart because it bit into the tree and had to basically uproot the tree to get it out it's mouth. Those seconds were not enough because it was gaining on me,so i change tactics.
I started moving through the trees,I climbed up one then continue to jump to the next immediately he ram into it. The game of cat and mouse was obviously not to it liking so i guess it started taking me seriously.
I was about to jump when i heard.

I pause immediately and felt like kissing Sara after i saw what happened next. The bastards fired a water bullet that basically deleted the place i was preparing to jump to.
I swear when i looked at the wolf it was actually smiling, fuck this bastard has been playing with me all this while. I stopped jumping and landing on trees but just swinging on them and leaving as fast as I could.
That saved me for a few minutes, but the fucker started to predict my next jump and i started to get hit even if it was only the aftermath of the attack that affected me.
I continued to push myself but the universe said i was done getting lucky,so i was hit with an aftermath that was to close and lost my balance so i fell downward,as i was coming down i saw it having that stupid smile on it face as it prepare to jump towards me.
Well fuck you and that smile of your i thought and then prepared myself to hit it with everything i had, and i mean everything i waited until the collision was imminent,it had its mouth open ready have a good bite, but i was definitely not on the menu today.
I punch his jaw, but before my fist hit it i activated my innate ability and the collision broke my fist but it knock the wind out of it. Immediately i hit the floor I row on the ground and then got to my feet and ran without looking back.
