I stared at the unending forest below from the hill i was standing, Grandma left a while back because she couldn't get to close or the forest defenders would sense her and as much as it pains me to admit,if she tries them she would die.
Don't get me wrong my grandparents are crazy strong but that's only in relation to other humans,no human can fight one on one against the other race even if they are in the same rank, except me of cause.
So why are they placed at kiaza, well like i said they are among the strongest humans so who better to buy time for humanity than them,they are basically the kingdom first line of defense.
Now about the forest below, this forest is the largest home to the beast race and yes the race humanity strongest were able to bearly defeat was the beast race. Oh don't get the wrong idea the reason why humanity won was only because of numbers.
The beast race are naturally not as corny as the other race even though they were among the strongest, so when the began their invasion they allowed the weakest go through first while one top power go after a certain period. So when the humans attack and crushed the gate, only four had crossed over. That's why they lost, not because they were weak they just had a bad strategy.
Now about the top power in the forest, first there's the wolves,they have one of the three SS+ in the forest so they basically control a sizeable portion of the forest, and unfortunately they are directly opposite kiaza, which means i am looking at their territory. The second group with SS+ power are the snakes and according to my grandparents they are the most difficult to deal with.
You see this snakes are ambush predators, yes they strike fast but they are not the fastest in a race, they are strong but compared to other animals their bodies are weak so why are they the most difficult simple they use illusion as their weapon. Imagine being caught in a illusion for just 5 seconds against an animal that can bite and poison you in under one second. Yeah they are difficult.
The last and argueablely the strongest of the SS+ is the queen, she is of the spider race and was the first to become SS rank and because she actually protected the other during their time of need, she is well respected, that it's fair to say she rules the forest.
Now time to go,oh if you are wondering why my grandparents would allow me to come here, that is because humans are welcome as long as they don't pass a certain level of strength after all just as humans needs cores so do other race.
But if the core is too weak then it doesn't instrest the truly powerful. Now here comes me without a core,I wouldn't even register to the powerful, not because they can't sense me if they wanted to because it's a waste of time putting in the effort to actually eat me. They would gain nothing or so they will believe.
So the only threats I have to worry about are those below S rank even some A rank would likely not bother me and even if they did Grandpa said i could definitely out run them. I'm free from the ones that can definitely kill me and i can escape from the ones that might bother trying. That good enough if you ask me.
I got into the forest and 10 minutes later I can feel eyes on me,i guess I'm being hunted. How many are they Sara.

Oh this guys are looking down on me God I didn't go through all that torture just to get looked down on by C rank dogs, enough im attacking first.
I moved to the closest wolf, appeared at it side and punched it massive head,it stumbled to the floor and actually yelp when i moved to finish it,i hit hard by a paw that felt like a train,it sent me rolling on the floor, immediately i can to a stop i jump to the side because I was almost bitten by another wolf,I jumped again but this time i landed on a tree so i can observe the situation.
Right they are pack hunters no way they let kill them one after the other.
*You for someone so smart you behave like an idiot sometimes,i told you, you were been hunted by a pack of six and your fighting strategy is facing them one at a time,god you are dumb*
Hey i get it my mistake,it not like have actually fought a pack of wolves before. I was still arguing with Sara when i had to jump because the leader decided he didn't like the tree i was standing on,so he broke it. What a rude fella.
I jumped, but i aimed my landing close to the furthest Wolf in the group, immediately i landed i broke his leg with a kick then used it head as a step to lunch myself to the closest wolf,i didn't bother to kill the one behind me just wanted to incapacitate it which was successful.
The wolf i was heading towards saw me and realized i was too fast for it to retreat to the other so it lunch itself with it mouth open ready to devour me. That was a very bad idea,i landed close to it and jump again then grab it upper jaw, even though it closed it mouth with my hand in it mouth I didn't even register the pain,i just raised it over my head and hit it on the floor.
I broke it's spine left it close to death an moved to the next,the remaining three were all sprinting towards me,it appears the first one i punch has still not recovered. So we had a three on one and it was quite one sided.
I mean i was faster and stronger than any of them, so i just kept punching with enough force to move two aside and then deal fatal blows to the remaining one, like that three became two and two became one, after they were all down i walked to each one and punched a hole through their skull.
Immediately each one died i felt it for the first time, the absorbing of the souls by the core in my eyes. It was just like the way it absorbed mana by forcing it through my whole body,it was quite a strange feeling.
After killing them i havested their cores and kept the body's in my space ring,I thank Marius Celeste for the nice donation. I mean if not for him i would have walked in here with no way to store my loot.
Now that I'm done with that it is time to continue my journey. I walk a little into the forest and then started walking sideways, because any smart person knows the dipper you go the stronger enemies you are bound to face, and i don't quite like the idea of facing a pack of B rank wolves,so i will stick to something more my speed.
My idea paid off,as i met another pack of C rank, but they were more, eleven of them took quite a while and a little bit of me being hit but I came out on top, while i was absorbing them i noticed something instresting.
As the souls pass through my body they also heal any injuries on their way to the eyes though it obviously reduces their effectiveness to the core but i can definitely live with that. Think about it all i have to do is kill my opponent and no matter how much injuries i sustain during the process as long as it was strong enough i would likely be fully healed.
With that news i didn't mind attaching large packs, infact because of my confidence i learned how to sacrifice a little injury to deal my opponent a fatal one. This in turn made me more dangerous because i was already stronger than any C rank so removing the fear of sustaining irrevocable injury,i was basically at a buffet.
That didn't mean i ran to the B rank location,nah I'm not that dumb i kept moving through the C rank spot and sometimes i met D rank wolves, killed them move on. Everything was going well until i got to the border of the wolf territory with another animal.
I didn't realize beast were smart enough to have border guards,or maybe i ran into him while he was talking a stroll and he felt i was enough to pass as a chew toy so he decided i was not going anywhere.
