When Alan and Caroline reached the designated location, the party in the woods was already in its full flow. Music was blaring loudly, drinks were flowing freely, a few couples had already found themselves spots behind the trees and dense vegetation to explore each other, and the junkies were already stoned. Classic Mystic Falls and their teens.
"How do you feel?" Caroline asked as they weaved through the crowd. "You know, it is your first party in Mystic Falls?"
"It feels just like Mystic Falls," Alan shrugged in response.
"You have barely lived a couple of days in Mystic Falls," Caroline giggled. "And you already know how this city feels."
She took him by his hands and dragged him towards the beer section. Both of them picked up a cup each and drank a few gulps from it, letting the cold beer down their throats.
"I think Elena and Bonnie would have already arrived," Caroline remarked. "We should look for them."
Alan nodded as they started to walk in no direction in particular while searching for Elena and Bonnie. It did not take long before they found Elena and Bonnie standing near a bonfire. Elena had a paper cup in her one hand and an empty beer bottle in her other hand. And the other end of the beer bottle was being held by Bonnie, who had an expression of deep shock and was speaking to Elena. The scene where Bonnie saw the fog, the crow, and the man. The first signs of her being a witch.
"What are they doing?" Caroline mumbled as they approached Elena and Bonnie.
"Who knows," Alan responded with another shrug.
By the time Caroline and Alan reached the duo, Bonnie was preparing to walk away but stopped midway, finding them in her path.
"Bonnie," Caroline greeted her friend cheerfully.
"Caroline," Bonnie replied with a slightly stiff smile.
"Bonnie?" Alan interjected immediately, his face questioning. "You look tense. Is everything alright?"
"Is there any problem, Elena?" He added, glancing behind Bonnie's back at Elena.
"Alan," Bonnie greeted and responded, schooling her expression. "Everything is alright."
"It is just that sometimes beer and music messes with my head," she made a believable pretense.
Alan simply nodded, but Caroline eyed her friend suspiciously. Having been friends with her since childhood, she had never heard of any such thing. Though she did not say anything, she made a mental note to ask her friend about this later.
"And look who is finally here," Alan said, looking toward his right.
Everyone followed his gaze in that direction to find Stefan Salvatore approaching them.
"Stefan!" Elena practically skipped a few steps as she reached Stefan to greet him.
"Elena," Stefan greeted back with an enthusiastic smile before turning toward the rest of them. "Hello, everyone."
Caroline, Alan, and Bonnie nodded back in response as Stefan approached and joined the group, forming a circle.
"Is everything all right?" he asked. "Elena? The atmosphere seems a bit tense."
"Just now," Alan chuckled. "I had asked the same question."
Stefan frowned and raised his eyebrows as Bonnie offered him the same explanation she gave Alan. Even so, with the presence of all these people, Bonnie relaxed and the atmosphere eased a bit. They chatted for a bit before Caroline brought up what had happened in class today.
"You should have seen his face," she said, leaning toward Alan. "It was as if Mr. Tanner had swallowed a lemon. He could not believe that someone, a student, had not only contradicted him but had also proved him wrong."
"You can brush up your facts if you want," she tried to mimic Stefan's voice.
All eyes shifted toward Stefan, the perpetrator of the incident, who simply smiled and shrugged like it was no big deal.
"You seem very well versed in the history of Mystic Falls," Alan remarked, with amusement in his eyes. "To remember things in such detail, it is as if you have lived through it all yourself."
An awkward and very slight nervous expression appeared on Stefan's face.
"I have a habit of reading the journals and records of my ancestors," Stefan responded. "And it was them who had the habit of reporting everything in great detail."
Alan did not say anything further, and the group continued to chat for a few more minutes. After which, Elena and Stefan excused themselves in the name of wanting some air on the bridge and wanting a walk to spend some time alone.
"I think," Bonnie said with a knowing smile. "I will go get some more beer. You two can enjoy yourselves for a bit."
"Bonnie!" Caroline glared at her friend, but she was pleased at being left alone with Alan.
"Should we also take a walk?" she asked Alan as Bonnie walked away.
Alan nodded as they walked a bit away from the chaotic circle of the party and arrived on the outer edge, closer to the dense woods. Caroline was leaning too close to Alan, and her eyes were expectant. Her intentions could not have been clearer.
"Alan," she mumbled, her voice heavy as she leaned toward him.
Alan too responded in kind. He too leaned in as both their lips collided. At first, it was only a soft touch, but slowly it turned aggressive. Caroline's lips were soft and juicy, and Alan was fully immersed in enjoying the sweetness and the softness of her lips. She was equally wild as she was sucking his lips hungrily.
Caroline's hands were resting on his shoulder and Alan's hands too did not remain idle as they found their way toward her ass. He pressed both her ass cheeks and clenched her supple flesh in his hands.
"Mmm!" Caroline moaned as Alan applied a bit of force and picked her up. She wrapped her legs around his waist and tightly clamped herself around him.
"Alan!" she gasped deeply as they separated. She gave one more wild look into his eyes before diving in again, capturing his lips.
With his strength, she was as light as a feather. He pressed her against the tree and immersed himself in enjoying Caroline's sweetness.
A couple of minutes passed and the intensity between them continued to rise, with Alan's hands roaming all around her back while Caroline continued to remain strapped around his body, her hands holding his neck tightly.
They would have continued their deed, but a sudden chaos broke out from the center of the party, snapping their attention toward it.
"What is happening?" Caroline asked as she climbed down.
"Let us find out," he replied as they moved toward the gathering crowd.
But he knew that, if everything was happening as per the plot, it would be Vicki bitten by Damon Salvatore.
