Orion paused at the option that had caught his attention.
A small description window appeared within the shop interface.
[Rational Human]
A being with a far greater capacity for thought and learning compared to primitive humans.
Capable of analyzing its surroundings and discovering new ways to survive and evolve.
Orion raised an eyebrow as he read the description.
"A human… but with a better mind."
He looked down at the planet he had created.
The primitive humans were still gathered around the fire one of them had discovered earlier. Some stared at the flames cautiously, while others approached before quickly backing away when the heat touched them.
One of them even tried reaching toward the fire again… despite having burned himself just moments ago.
Orion sighed.
"Yes… this is exactly what they need."
He pressed the option without hesitation.
[10 Divine Power consumed.]
[Creating new creature…]
On a plain near the forest, a human body slowly formed, as if emerging from nothing itself.
The man stood there quietly for a moment, breathing slowly before opening his eyes.
Several primitive humans approached him cautiously, staring with curiosity.
But unlike them, the man didn't appear confused.
He slowly looked around, observing the surroundings with calm, aware eyes.
Then his gaze landed on the fire.
He walked toward it carefully.
The others instinctively stepped back, as if they feared getting too close.
But the man stopped in front of the flames and simply watched.
He extended his hand slightly… then paused when he felt the heat.
After a moment, he bent down and picked up a long stick from the ground.
Carefully, he moved the stick through the fire, shifting the burning straw little by little.
Orion raised an eyebrow.
"Oh…"
While the others either feared the fire or tried touching it recklessly, this man was trying to understand it.
How it moved.
How it spread.
And how it could be controlled.
A faint smile appeared on Orion's face.
"Looks like my divine power wasn't wasted."
He continued watching the scene for a while.
The difference was obvious.
While the others argued or backed away nervously, the man simply sat near the fire, thinking.
Then a thought crossed Orion's mind.
He glanced at the system interface.
"Wait…"
"Why don't they use magic?"
"This world is full of mana, isn't it?"
A moment later, the system responded.
[Using magic requires two essential conditions.]
Orion tilted his head slightly.
"And those are?"
[Condition one: a sufficient level of intelligence to understand the flow of mana.]
[Condition two: a body capable of absorbing and controlling mana.]
Orion remained silent for a moment as he considered the answer.
Then he looked down at the primitive humans again.
One of them leaned too close to the fire before jumping back, waving his hand after touching the flame.
Orion sighed.
"Yes… they're far from that."
His gaze then returned to the newly created man.
The human he had brought into existence only moments ago.
He watched as the man quietly sat beside the fire, observing it carefully.
Orion smiled faintly.
"Well then…"
he said softly.
"I'll call you Adam."
As the flames danced before him, Adam continued watching them with thoughtful eyes.
And far above, Orion wondered just how far this new mind might take the world.
