From the beginning, I didn't think I needed to haul myself to school to learn what my mom had been perfectly teaching me from home. She herself didn't go to college yet she had the right clientele, had a steady job that was really just her hobby and was living a smooth life. Dad provides everything for us three and himself so her money is always enough for her and the profits she uses for I don't know what, I should ask.
The dorms weren't anything out of this world, a room with two sets of everything from the bed to the wardrobes and then comes the desks. My roommate was taking nursing, I think this means late nights and all but it's okay. I am a night owl if I want to be, but with the timetable I'd seen...maybe not.
"Will you move out after semester one?"
"God willing!"
"Tell me when you decide to. I also hope you won't be inviting people to our room."
"I don't think I am the type to but cool, same goes to you."
I hadn't known I'd go against that that same weekend so slide past.
Thing one about my roommate was he could be a total bitch when he so feels it. I am good with these kinds...a few wounds that not everyone can see fix them right up.
Day one of school and I frickin' got lost. I had picked up the map previous day...damn Dylan! I should do away with him.
Now I am somehow outside engineering, thanks Dylan, Holy smokes handsome faces and ...muscles don't judge me, this course carries a good number of hot guys and if I am to go by me, mine could have more twinks.
-You in class yet?
-Agnes!!
-What?
-Hot men alert!
-Atleast now you have a reason to go to class.
-Not in my course though.
-Such a bummer but young Lutz, it's seven fifty eight and you have a lesson at eight.
-Blame my roommate, we got into a tiny scuffle and he retaliated with maps.
I shouldn't have told her, all the way to class, I had my ears eaten off by her. I think I shouldn't say literally but my ears say so.
Well, she paid my tuition herself, gave me some of my pocket money and told dad not to get into my pity trap so, maybe I should just use the money she generously put in.
Perfume and girls...a huge number of them. That was the first thing that came to mind the moment I walked in. Make-uped faces, some without but all the same pretty, pretty, pretty....oooh looky...
I'd never seen someone as soft as him until that day...damn, he beats me by several hundred decibals. I swear my legs just carried me to him.
Many people were trying to get his attention, he looked bored by them though...cutely bored. You know, it could be that or he was just wary of his sorroundings and wanted to disappear. Or both!
"Hi, my name's Taffettah Lutz but people call me Taffy, it's shorter and easier."
I know he won't stretch his hands to greet me, in his position I wouldn't so I just sat and got my laptop out. He stayed silent for a good while, looking skittish...ready to bolt is right but I made sure to give him space.
"Blane Orchid!"
"What, oh!"
"My name's Blane."
"Hey Blane, don't be worried about them. They'll look for a while then lose interest."
"I am pegging on that."
His voice was also cute Aaargh! Can I adopt him? I want to hide him in my pocket and not let anyone see him...even Agnes.
Classes were okay, though he looked uncomfortable in all of them. I tried giving him support, at least he seemed to like art though there's a certain guy that wasn't giving him space to learn even that. And I hated that so, I got someone to switch places with him, cue Nicole.
She's very timid, so timid that she bowed while agreeing and even let the guy get on her nerves. Though I learnt later on that that's just a facade, these tiny, timid humans are really something.
I'd seen the guy, Rashid outside engineering that morning and as he followed Blane around, I wondered if they were all the same. To get Blane to keep away from them, I showed him the photo from the forum. But it seemed like he relaxed more once he saw them...the hell?
During lunch, which Nicole and I had been forced to go to while Blane sat waiting with Rashid, Nicole showed me a photo. The photo had just been updated, looking at it over my burger, I nearly choked. So this was why my cutie had gone forth to allow Rashid to get close to him.
The person we were looking at was all parts handsome but obviously Blane's and I had eyes on the other one so no, but damn.
Friday afternoon, no classes. That meant I could go to sleep...or go back home and finish that sequin dress I'd been dreaming of finishing for a while now. That was before I got a message from my baby Blane asking me to join them for lunch.
-Who's there?
-Me, Riley and Rashid.
-On my way.
Free food and a chance to sit with two fifths of first years finest and the cutie everyone wanted to know wasn't something I was going to let pass me by. That dress could wait as long as it needed, my sister would understand.
I know scrutiny when I see it and these two were on it so bad. From being told two on the phone to finding cold prince there then being joined by the fourth, I'd seriously thought number five would miraculously come by. He obviously didn't but it was worth it.
Saturday I had planned to laze around, read a novel or three, order in and pretend Dylan wasn't there but my sister had other plans.
I'd just woken up when I got called by security that someone was there for me, it just had to be Truphena, my eew!...lovely sister with the dress, a sewing machine and a huge smile on her ugly face.
"I need it Friday, good luck little bro!"
And her ass was gone. It's good security felt pity and maybe the trolley was already delivered and Blane cleared it so I could use it. She just destroyed the perfect weekend for me. Why hadn't Agnes....ahu! Missed calls were there from her, don't blame me, I'd eaten enough and just fell into deep sleep. Anyway, who calls someone in the middle of the night?
