Arc 3 chapter 38
Alga was just sitting there at the room watching Sion like a hawk, Sion had already calmed down and was now concentrating his hardest to manipulate his aura into breaking the paralysis spell but it was difficult.
Everytime he would get his aura flowing into a certain direction it would break apart due to requiring four different control methods and controlling one or two was hard already and couldn't reach up 3 let alone 4.
Sion: (this is way harder than I thought, everytime I get it flowing to a certain direction, one element would disrupt the other. I'm struggling to control two elements and I'm supposed to be able to control four! That's impossible.)
Alga: I know someone who can control more than four elements at the same time but he has one mana nature.
Sion: (extra elements?)
Alga: as you might have already guessed, he uses extra elements. We all know that extra elements are magic techniques of a certain element you don't have right? Which means it's difficult as hell to sustain them but this guy used extra elements like it was breathing for him...i envied him so much that I wanted to eat him alive if I ever saw him again, but... That was in his prime and now he has decreased to my level... I felt it the moment he showed up at my door step... I heard he quit being an adventurer to raise a child... Never thought a monster like the Super Punch would ever settle down like that and live a fatherhood life.... (embarrassed) anyways don't tell him I said that or I'll kill you! Yeah? I trust you won't.
Sion: (nah that would be cringe, I won't say shit)
Alga: anyways what I was trying to say is if someone who rely on extra elements can cast multiple of them at the same time, what stops you with the actually elements from doing the same.
Sion:... (I'm a four element battle mage Albert is only one but can do it better? I won't allow it!)...
Sion's mana started overflowing in his body and his body started to get hotter and hotter as he stimulate his mana in an abnormal way, the elements kept canceling each other out but Sion continued to mix them up without stopping.
Alga: huh?! Using force are we? (scoffs) I guess that's another way to do it.
Sion continued this process until he combined his elemental energies into one mana stream. Sion did his own simplified method, instead of trying to control all four elements, he combined them into one and broke through the paralysis spell with that stream but he was too tired to get up after breaking it because he used to much mana and he was on his limit.
Sion: I did... It... (falls unconscious)
Alga: yes you did... (what the fuck was that?! I never seen anyone combine his elemental energies like that! It's impossible! Seriously Albert where did you find these kids!)... Well it's time to go outside I guess.
Sion went through a difficult task but finally came through and his achievement today was about to become more than just deep mana control, but a special ability.
Meanwhile at the city a certain noble Dagen was meeting up with the head of finances in Lotus city Gaari but their meeting was not an ordinary one. As these two were meeting up in their own private room which was covered in a sound proof spell and there were three dead bodies at the walls hanging.
Gaari: (cleaning his hands with water) you said you'll take care of things when I gave you this task but look at me now.
Dagen: I assure you that they were still necessary, you didn't have to kill them! Not to mention what I'm suppose to say to the director now! That three important figures of the justice guild just went to a vacation?
Gaari: you brought this on yourself my friend cuz you kept spending capital money on whatever your schams are and you promised you would fix it somehow... Well you ran out of time and I couldn't risk them pressing me about showing them the journals and records which I didn't have soo who do you think will take the fall?
Dagen: shit! Shit!
Gaari: don't worry about it. If things get out of hand with the director then... Just kill him.
Dagen: are you fucking crazy! That's treason!
Gaari: don't worry about it (he placed his hand on Dagen's shoulder which had a Red Hand tattoo) we are backed by powerful people, isn't that right? Mr Edwick.
An old man appeared from the shadows of the room with a sword on his hand and kept scratching his neck.
Edwick: I'll kill the Director if I had too and cover the tracks, as long as you keep your promises of breaking down the barrier at the Ducher Mansion.
Gaari: don't worry I got that one.
Dagen: hey I thought we promised to not involve the Red Hand into this.
Gaari: don't worry they are not involved. This is just me and Edwick's deal that's all.
Dagen: Ok then how about them? (pointing at the dead bodies but one moved) HOLY SHIT! That scared me! he's still alive.
Gaari: well I was thinking of mind controlling that one to clear my name from the suspect list and from then he'll continue to be my puppet for a while then dies on an accident.
Dagen: you got it all figured out huh? Whatever just don't do anything reckless without me knowing first. (leaves the room)
Edwick: that friend of yours... Are you sure he's trustworthy?
Gaari: don't worry about it, I got so much dirt on him that it even makes us best friends.
Edwick: whatever, as long as it doesn't get on my way of my mission. (dissappears)
Gaari: well it's about time I went to the office for work and covering up for more corrupt nobles like my self (whistles a tune) just another day.
