Chapter 14 - Primitive planet Requirements

Chapter 13: Primitive Planet Requirements

Alicia remained in a good mood for a very long time.

Honestly, she had every right to.

She had gone from a confused newborn planet core with absolutely nothing—

to a Peak Dust Planet.

That was huge.

Monumental.

Historic.

Legendary, even.

At least, according to Alicia herself.

"I've officially become amazing," she declared proudly in her mind.

The system, as always, gave no emotional support.

Alicia ignored that.

She was still celebrating.

For several moments, she simply watched her world in satisfaction.

The rivers flowed.

The forests breathed with life.

The oceans moved with countless tiny lifeforms.

The humans and beasts were slowly finding their own places in the world.

And for once—

everything actually felt peaceful.

Naturally, that was when Alicia made a terrible mistake.

She decided to ask the system a question.

"System," she said confidently.

"What do I need to become a Primitive Planet?"

There was a pause.

Alicia suddenly had a bad feeling.

Then—

Ding!

A blue window appeared in front of her.

[Advancement Requirements: Primitive Planet]

Current Realm: Peak Dust Planet

Next Realm: Primitive Planet

Requirements:

Increase planetary diameter to 500

Form stable freshwater and land cycles

Create at least 3 complete environmental zones

Nurture at least 2 intelligent life communities

Reach a sufficient planetary Soul Power density

Unlock and integrate one new planetary function

Alicia stared at the screen.

Then read it again.

Then again.

Then a fourth time.

Silence.

A deep, painful silence.

Then—

"…Excuse me?"

Her thoughts shook.

"No, actually—excuse me?!"

She zoomed in on the requirements like that would somehow make them less offensive.

"Increase diameter to 500?!"

"Three complete environmental zones?!"

"Two intelligent life communities?!"

Her core pulsed violently in outrage.

"Was this system trying to raise a planet or run a cosmic government?!"

She was deeply betrayed.

Again.

And yet—

after a while, Alicia forced herself to calm down.

Barely.

"…Alright."

"…Let's not panic."

She focused on the first requirement.

1. Increase planetary diameter to 500

That one was straightforward.

At least compared to the others.

Her planet would need to physically grow larger.

That likely meant she would need more Life Energy, more development, and perhaps new ways to expand terrain.

Annoying.

But understandable.

Then she moved to the second requirement.

2. Form stable freshwater and land cycles

Alicia blinked.

"…What does that even mean?"

She thought for a moment.

Then slowly understood.

"…Water flow."

Not just oceans and rivers existing—

but actual natural cycles.

Evaporation.

Rain.

Freshwater movement.

Maybe even weather patterns eventually.

Her thoughts became more serious.

That was not just adding more water.

That was making the world function more naturally.

"…That's actually… kind of cool."

Then she quickly corrected herself.

"…Still rude of the system, though."

She moved on.

3. Create at least 3 complete environmental zones

Alicia immediately became thoughtful.

That probably meant things like:

forest zones

ocean or coastal zones

rocky or mountain zones

plains or grassland zones

Not just random terrain—

but actual stable environments with their own life and balance.

That one felt difficult…

but possible.

Then came the fourth one.

4. Nurture at least 2 intelligent life communities

Alicia froze.

"…Communities?"

Not just lifeforms.

Not just races.

Communities.

That meant the humans and beasts—or at least some of them—would need to begin forming something more organized.

Not full civilization.

Not kingdoms or anything crazy.

But enough to count as real social or structured groups.

Alicia narrowed her focus.

"…So they need to develop more."

That would take time.

Observation.

Maybe even some indirect guidance.

Interesting.

Very interesting.

Then she looked at the fifth requirement.

5. Reach a sufficient planetary Soul Power density

That one made immediate sense.

Her world already had Soul Power slowly spreading through it.

But clearly—

it was not enough yet.

That meant the environment itself needed to become more saturated with Soul Power before it could support the next realm.

And finally—

Alicia looked at the last requirement.

6. Unlock and integrate one new planetary function

Alicia paused.

Then frowned.

"…System."

"What does 'integrate' mean?"

The system replied immediately:

[Explanation]

The host must unlock a new planetary development function and successfully apply it to world growth.

Alicia stared.

Then slowly said:

"…So not only do I need a new function…"

"…I also have to actually use it properly?"

The system remained silent.

Which, in Alicia's experience, was basically a yes.

She let out a long mental sigh.

Then another.

Then a third, because the situation deserved it.

After a while, Alicia looked back at the requirements.

And this time—

instead of only feeling offended…

she also felt something else.

Excitement.

Because these weren't just random tasks.

They were signs that her world was about to become far more advanced.

Freshwater cycles.

Environmental zones.

Intelligent communities.

Denser Soul Power.

New planetary functions.

This wasn't just growth anymore.

This was true planetary development.

The next realm was not asking her to simply become stronger.

It was asking her to become more complete.

Alicia looked over her world once more.

The humans.

The beasts.

The forests.

The rivers.

The mountains.

The ocean.

Then she focused on the requirement list again.

"…Okay."

She went quiet.

Then her core pulsed with determination.

"…Fine."

"I'll do it."

A short pause passed.

Then she added:

"…But I'm still filing a formal complaint against this system."

Naturally, no one cared.

Still, Alicia's thoughts sharpened.

The Peak Dust Planet stage was complete.

Now—

the true challenge of becoming a Primitive Planet had begun.

And somewhere near the stream—

the silver fox was currently trying to steal a fish much bigger than itself.

Alicia stared at it.

Then muttered:

"…Honestly, you might end up helping me complete at least one requirement by accident."

The fox immediately lost the fish and fell backward into the water.

Alicia was silent for a full second.

Then—

"…Never mind."

What do you think will be the hardest Primitive Planet requirement for Alicia? 👀
