"Um… Theo, what are you doing… could… could you, like, maybe… move back a bit?" Phoebe said, leaning further into the wall.
Theo leaned in close, staring into her eyes.
"Um… Theo," Phoebe whispered, gulping down, wishing the ground would open up and swallow her whole.
Theo leaned in even closer, until there was only an inch between their lips. Phoebe shut her eyes tightly.
"Your eyes are so pretty… and… you're so fucking cute with your eyes closed and your lips parted, as if you're waiting for a kiss," Theo said, bringing his lips to her ear and smirking.
"Aaah!" Phoebe screamed, pushing him away and running to the counter.
Theo stumbled back and laughed loudly.
"You're so cute… just like a rabbit," Theo grinned deviously.
"Theo!!!" Phoebe screamed, blushing furiously.
"Ok, I'm sorry… it was just so nice teasing you, I couldn't help it," Theo said, smirking. Phoebe glared at him.
"Fine, fine… let's cook, lil rabbit," Theo teased. Phoebe blushed hard.
"Ok, let's be serious. So you were saying that we should cook ramen?" Theo asked, walking to the cupboard.
(Lexy's POV)
I woke up with a stir.
"Mmhh," I moaned softly and opened my eyes to see a little figure in a cat gimmick staring at me intently. I closed my eyes again, then immediately snapped them open.
"Hi, meow!!" the little boy said, waving his paw. I sat up, making him slide down my body.
"Jace, what's going on?" I groaned, palming my face.
"Well, as I was searching for some clothes to wear, I saw this under my clothes and decided to wear it… Mama said I look adorable," Jace Cruise, my younger brother, said, grinning.
"Seriously? You actually listened to Mom for fash… Don't distract me, kid," I said, glaring at him.
"But I didn't," Jace said, pouting cutely.
"Whatever. When did Mom buy this costume for you? How come I don't know about it?" I asked, raising my brows.
"Well…" Jace said, looking at the floor.
"Jace, spit it out," I said sternly.
Jace sighed and looked up. "It wasn't Mum who bought it for me. She said it was Dad," he said, twisting his fingers nervously.
Immediately, my face froze.
"What did you say, Jace?" I asked coldly.
"I said that it was… Dad who… bought me the costume," Jace said, gulping.
"Remove that thing off your body, right this instant," I said coldly.
"But…" Jace said nervously.
"I said remove it off your body right this instant, Jace. Don't let me repeat myself," I said sternly.
"Okay…" Jace said, his face frightened.
"Go to your room now. By the time I come back, I want to see other clothes on your body. Am I clear?" I said coldly.
"Yes, big sis," Jace said, jumping off my bed and leaving.
I sighed as I lay back on my bed.
"What are you up to, Mom?" I muttered to myself, standing up and walking to the bathroom.
