Kim woke up with a sudden jolt, his chest rising and falling as if he had just run a marathon. His eyes were wide open, staring at the white ceiling above his bed. Beads of sweat rolled down his forehead.
"What… what kind of dream was that?" he whispered, running a hand through his messy hair.
For a moment, the room felt unreal—silent, still, and hazy. The dream he had just witnessed was so vivid that his heart was still trembling. He remembered the strange world, the mysterious faces, the strange power… and that girl whose presence had felt strangely warm.
But it was all a dream.
Just a dream.
He sat up slowly, took a deep breath, and looked around his large, well-decorated room. Kim belonged to a wealthy family—his room itself was bigger than most living rooms. A soft morning light came through the giant glass window.
He checked the time.
7:10 AM.
"Oh crap, I'm going to be late."
He pushed away the dream from his mind and got out of bed. The wooden floor felt cool under his feet.
🍽️ Morning Routine
Kim walked downstairs, still thinking about the dream. His mother was already at the dining table.
"Oh, good morning, Kim," she said with a warm smile. "Did you sleep well?"
Kim nodded, hesitating for a second.
"Yeah… just had a weird dream."
"Dreams only mean your mind is working extra," she said with a soft laugh. "Eat before it gets cold."
He sat down, grabbed his toast, and forced himself to act normal. But the dream kept replaying in his mind like a movie trailer. It felt too real… almost like a memory.
After breakfast, he packed his bag, wore his school uniform, grabbed his earphones, and walked out of the mansion.
🚶♂️ The Way to School
The chilly morning breeze brushed against his face as he walked toward Seoul High School. Students in blue-white uniforms were scattered everywhere—chatting, laughing, running so they wouldn't be late.
Kim put one earphone in, letting the music calm his mind.
But the dream kept interrupting the melody in his head.
Why did she feel so familiar?
Why did it feel like she knew me?
And why did I feel… connected?
He shook his head.
"This is stupid. It was just a dream."
But deep down… he knew it wasn't just that.
🏫 Seoul High School — Class 11B
As soon as Kim entered the class, his friends noticed him.
"Yo! Kim!" shouted Jisoo, waving a hand.
"You look dead, bro," Minho said, laughing. "Did a ghost sit on your face last night?"
Kim rolled his eyes.
"Shut up. I just had a weird dream."
"Ooooh dream?" Jisoo smirked. "Was it about a girl?"
Kim froze for half a second.
And that was enough.
Jisoo snapped his fingers.
"HA! I knew it!"
"It's not like that," Kim muttered, taking his seat.
But deep inside, he knew Jisoo wasn't entirely wrong.
📚 The Classroom Atmosphere
Class 11B had:
18 boys
17 girls
One extremely strict teacher
And a whole bunch of drama every day
The class was noisy as usual—girls chatting in groups, boys arguing about video games, some students trying to sleep on their desks.
Kim took out his notebook, trying to push the dream away again.
But suddenly, the classroom door slid open.
A girl entered.
And at that moment—
Kim froze.
His breath stopped.
Because the girl standing at the door looked…
exactly like the girl from his dream.
Same eyes.
Same gentle aura.
Same face.
His mind went blank.
❤️ "Who… is she?"
The room suddenly felt too small, too crowded.
Kim's heart was beating way too fast.
Jisoo nudged him.
"Bro. Why are you staring at her like you saw a ghost?"
Kim whispered, shocked,
"I… I saw her in my dream."
"What?"
Before Jisoo could ask more, the teacher entered.
"Everyone, take your seats. We have a new student today."
The girl bowed politely.
"Hello everyone, my name is Han Mira. I hope we can be good friends."
Her voice.
Her smile.
Her presence.
Everything matched his dream exactly.
Kim felt chills run down his spine.
💘 When Eyes Meet
As Mira walked to find her seat, her eyes accidentally met Kim's.
For a second, the world stopped.
Kim felt the same warmth from the dream—soft, gentle, pulling him closer.
Mira blinked in confusion, almost as if she recognized him too.
She sat two rows ahead.
Kim didn't blink for five whole seconds.
Jisoo whispered,
"Bro… you're gone. You're totally gone."
Kim didn't deny it.
Because now, the dream didn't feel like a dream anymore.
It felt like destiny.
🌇 After School — The First Step Toward Love
Classes ended. Students rushed out like bees escaping a hive.
Kim packed his bag slowly, mind still lost in the morning's shock.
Should he talk to her?
Should he ignore it?
Was this fate?
Or was his brain playing tricks?
He took a deep breath.
"No. I should at least say hi."
He walked out of the building and spotted Mira near the gate, adjusting her bag.
For once, destiny wasn't far away.
He took a step forward—
"Kim!!"
Minho grabbed him from behind.
"Come with us, we're going to the café!"
Kim groaned.
"Not today."
"Ohhh… because of the new girl?" Minho teased.
Kim pushed him aside lightly.
"Shut up."
He turned again—but Mira was already gone.
He sighed.
"Tomorrow… I'll definitely talk to her tomorrow."
And for the first time, he wanted tomorrow to arrive quickly.
