I woke up feeling nothing but sore and in pain, yet feeling more rewarded than ever. My body was clean but covered in bruises when I woke up. I felt like I'd been marked. Not only that, Darius was staring right down at me with a pouty face. As if he should be the one pouting.
I had to see his annoying face.
"What?" I rolled my eyes at him.
"What the fuck was that yesterday? Why the fuck would you let some guy fucking kiss you?" Darius asked. "I almost killed you both on that roof. And I'm still thinking about it."
So he really was jealous. "What the fuck were you talking to Pinky about?" I asked.
"She just wanted to know if I was bullying you and how she could help, and I told the pathetic wench she couldn't even if she tried! Now tell me about that damn kiss!" Darius snapped.
Might I have overreacted?
