Chapter 33 - Myriad Rain Immortal Scripture

There were only two notifications from his messages app. From his mother and Krisha. His mother asked how he was doing and Krisha asked him to inform her if he finished writing the sword art as she wanted to read it immediately.

Then, there were endless notifications from his social media—most of it was tagging him with a brief hated post about him.

Felix could understand. Although the Mayor could control the media, not the social media, where keyboard warriors were fearless.

Most of the hate came from the fact he was always being alone with Krisha and how the mayor was being biased about him. Felix also saw posts about how he challenged the inner disciples from the Azure Cleave Dojo.

He was more concerned about the latter. After all, it would affect the Azure Cleave Dojo's reputation to a great extent.

He sighed helplessly and mumbled, "I wish Master Shen wouldn't mind. If he does, I'll accept the punishment from him willingly after I explain myself."

Felix was already ready for his explanation and for Master Shen's verdict.

He responded to his mother's message first, narrating how his day went. He didn't include the cure to Mia, though. He wanted to surprise her.

After he sent a quite long wall of texts to his mother, he responded to Krisha's message in one word, "Yes."

After a while of waiting, what Felix received a response from her was the knocking from his door.

He sighed, grabbed the notebook and opened the door. Krisha was wearing the same casual revealing clothes—unlike earlier, during the dinner, she wore pajamas to prevent others from staring at her with a lascivious gaze.

He handed the notebook to her and Krisha's sparkling eyes were glued to the notebook. The notebook's cover was plain blue—her favorite color. When she received it, she uttered a simple "thank you" and immediately went to her room, excited to read the sword art that Felix said to be suited to her.

Felix stared at her speechless and then beamed a sparkling smile.

I'm not used to seeing her without PengPeng in her embrace.

Felix included in the notebook that if she wanted to hasten her progress in cultivation, especially in energy circulation, it would definitely be better to include PengPeng with it.

Before Felix finished writing the notebook, he even added his adjustments based on his current knowledge about the beat tamer and their beast pet—especially how they advanced through meditation and other methods—to avoid having the sword art complicating her main profession as a beast tamer.

Felix also considered the fact that PengPeng was a controller, which helped shape the terrain. With the help of the Guide, they were able to alter the Ice Vein Sword Art just for it to be suited for Krisha.

As a result, if PengPeng was a controller and Krisha being the striker, they would be a force to be reckoned with.

Felix smiled brightly when he thought he was able to be of great help to Krisha—at least, having returned a favor he owed a big time to her.

However, when he realized he didn't have a partner, he was quite saddened.

He frowned and sighed. Eventually, I'll get to have one. Since I can choose what type of beast to contract, what should it be? It feels like a controller type of beast is better, too.

Like PengPeng.

Felix continued to wonder as he entered inside his room, and finally began writing his own thoughts about his sword art in the writing desk.

After an hour of writing, mostly from his reflections of his supplementary mortal exercises, eventually paving a way for learning one after another, the Guide informed him that he earned another experience point.

He was startled.

His body trembled in excitement.

Staring blankly at the pages of the notebooks filled with scribbles from texts and drawing, he mumbled, "So, this is one way to increase my experience points, huh?"

[Yes. However, do note that this is your first time writing about your reflections and understanding of your sword art. You've learned a lot after writing this time, but next time, you hit a bottleneck and haven't learned other than what you had, you won't gain an experience point.]

Felix nodded and sighed. "That makes a lot of sense.

By the way, Guide, come to think of it, what is the name of my sword art?"

[It's the Myriad Rain Immortal Scripture.

However, host, be warned that this scripture won't help you completely ascend to the Immortal. It's categorized as immortal because it helped you establish a solid foundation to ascend into immortality. When it comes to ascending to immortal rank, it might require a real immortal scripture, or Transcendent Rank Sword Art, bestowed from an immortal or your own effort for the heavens to recognize you as an entity that has to ascend to immortality.]

Felix pinched his chin and ruminated.

He replied, "I see. Well, it doesn't matter."

Felix grabbed his phone and checked the time. He didn't wear a watch whenever he was in his room.

He saw it was already almost 12 am, so he had to sleep now. His body clock was quite sensitive. If he broke it, he would suffer from repercussions.

He checked his notifications and saw his mother replied to his message.

She was the usual—sending warm messages, conveying how she would continue to pray for Felix and Mia's well-being and how Felix must not forget to take care of himself.

After sending words of assurance, he saw that Krisha did not send a message.

Nevertheless, he had not forgotten to ask her when they would travel to the Beast Tamer Association.

Krisha took some time to reply.

"7."

Felix then replied that he would sleep now. If she has any questions, she would have to gather them all up and ask him tomorrow in person.

Without waiting for a reply, Felix set an alarm at exactly 6:40 am and finally slept peacefully at his bed.

However, the peace didn't last long when he woke up…

At 6:39 am.

He was irritated—even more so, when the alarm had just rang.
