Chapter 32 - Frozen Vein Sword Art

Felix, just to be safe, planned to write until the second stage of the sword art. He was quite afraid of others learning about the sword art by accidentally reading it.

Although he was confident Krisha would keep it by herself, it doesn't hurt to be careful.

Hence, Felix not only wrote but drew the forms of the two stage structures of the Frozen Vein Sword Art according to the Guide after his mind was injected with the information she provided.

"Stage 1: Frost Initiation.

Foundation: Cold Control.

First: Frostline Cut.

A clean horizontal or vertical slash that leaves lingering cold in the wound.

Level 1: your sword edge chills the air slightly.

Level 2: your sword can create frost on the struck surface.

Level 3: the frost from your sword can numb and slow the blood flow of your enemy, thereby slowly weakening them.

Second: White Step.

It's a footwork technique that leaves faint frost prints.

Level 1: Your movement becomes quiet and measured.

Level 2: You can spread frost energy on the ground as it slightly stiffens under your foot, causing those who stepped on your footprints to lose balance.

Level 3: At this point, those who stepped upon your footprints will feel their footing grow heavy.

Stage 2: Ice Vein Circulation.

Once you reach Commander Rank 1 as your energy core has finally formed, you can begin to circulate your energy like freezing rivers inside the blade.

First: Glacial Pierce.

A thrust that concentrates into a single point.

Level 1: Enemy's armor becomes brittle.

Level 2: Impact point partially freezes.

Level 3: Cracks spread like spiderweb ice, providing chilling effects to the targeted area.

Second: Cold Mist Guard.

A defensive technique forming thin frost in the air.

Level 1: Slows incoming strikes. If it's an attack in a gaseous state, there's a high possibility to disperse it.

Level 2: It helps weaken an attack made out of solid, especially weapons.

Level 3: Can partially freeze incoming projectiles."

After Felix wrote the first two stages of the Ice Vein Sword, drawing the form to easily comprehend it.

Afterwards, Felix began writing the supplementary mortal exercises.

Supplementary Exercises. A must do for you to progress in cultivating the path of the sword you have chosen.

Stage 1: Frost Initiation.

It focuses on cold tolerance and controlled movement. You will be able to not only amplify your ice affinity by absorbing and refining the ice energy in your surroundings, but your physique will be enhanced to adapt to the ice energy.

First: Dawn Frost Standing.

You must practice at sunrise in cold air or shallow icy water. Stand in a basic sword stance for 1-2 hours. Grip the sword without shivering and focus on your steady breathing.

It helps you build natural cold resistance and stabilize muscle tremors.

Second: Slow Frost Cuts.

Perform 300 slow horizontal and vertical cuts daily. Movements must be smooth and controlled. Blade should not whistle, don't forget that, and silence is required.

It aims to develop precise muscle control and eliminate wasted motion.

Third: Ice Grip Conditioning.

You must hold the sword while your hands are chilled in cold water. You can do it on the bathtub by submerging your hands while grasping the wooden sword as steady and tightly as you could. If you feel your fingers going numb, practice doing gentle thrusts.

This exercise aims to train dexterity under freezing conditions.

Stage 2: Ice Vein Circulation.

It's simply an internal cold flow, where it helps you cultivate ice energy for you to reach the stage where you freely use your ice energy inside your body and release it outward.

First: Frozen Breath Regulation.

Inhale slowly through your nose, imagine a cold air filling your veins, and exhale gently while visualizing frost spreading along the sword. You must practice, at least, 108 breaths daily.

It helps you synchronize internal ice affinity with blade movement.

Second: Snowfall Footwork Drill.

You must move across loose sand or shallow snow. Steps must leave a minimal imprint. Practice thrusting while stepping.

It aims to develop light, controlled movement without disturbing the ground.

Third: Ice Needle Precision.

Hang thin wooden rods or bamboo sticks. Perform thrusts aimed at the same pinpoint mark. Missed targets require restraining count.

The goal is to achieve 100 consecutive accurate thrusts.

It helps you refine the Glacial Pierce precision."

Afterwards, Felix wrote suggestions or experiences that the creator of the Ice Vein Sword Art had when he was cultivating his own technique. It helps reduce the possible confusion Krisha might experience while cultivating it.

After adding some adjustments, Felix realized there was only a single page left out of 80. He was quite stunned.

Irritated, he uttered under his breath. "I really do love to waste each of my pages, don't I?"

Felix sighed. There was still the philosophy left to write about. He pondered for a while and finally decided to write a paragraph about the philosophy of the Frozen Vein Sword Art, aiming to establish an idea for Krisha to gain enlightenment during the process.

He wrote, "The Frozen Vein Sword Art teaches that true power is not in movement, but in stillness. Ice does not chase, nor does it rage like a storm—it waits, it preserves, and it ends with certainty. If water adapts, ice decides. This tempers your body, breath, and emotion until desire no longer disturbs your blade. In absolute calm, perception sharpens; in emotional frost, hesitation dies. A single strike, delivered without excess thought or wasted emotion, is worth more than a thousand reckless blows. To cultivate this art is to let your heart grow cold, the mind grow clear, and your sword becomes the quiet moment before winter claims the world."

Even Felix was left awestruck by the philosophy of the Frozen Vein Sword Art he wrote. It was not his idea but from the owner of the Frozen Vein Sword Art and he was aware that he could only understand the gist of it compared to Krisha who would eventually develop her own philosophy which was based from the Frozen Vein Sword Art.

Returning the quill on his base, Felix leaned on his seat and opened his phone to look at the time and notifications.
