After years of دعوت, Prophet Nuh (AS) saw that most of his people still refused to believe. They continued their arrogance and mockery. Then Allah revealed to him that no more people would accept the truth.
Heartbroken but obedient, Nuh (AS) prayed to Allah for help. Allah responded by giving him a strange and powerful command—to build a massive Ark.
What made it even more surprising was that there was no river or sea nearby. It was dry land. Yet, without questioning, Nuh (AS) began building the Ark.
As he worked day after day, his people passed by and laughed at him. They said, "You used to be a preacher, and now you have become a carpenter!"
Nuh (AS) calmly replied, "If you laugh at us today, we will laugh at you tomorrow when the punishment comes."
Despite all the insults, he continued his work with patience and full trust in Allah. Slowly, the Ark was completed. It was strong, large, and ready for a command that only Allah knew.
Then one day, the sign appeared. Water started coming out from the ground, and the sky poured down heavy rain. It was the beginning of a عظیم flood.
Allah commanded Nuh (AS) to gather the believers and take them into the Ark. Along with them, he was instructed to take pairs of animals—male and female—so that life could continue after the disaster.
As people saw the flood rising, panic spread everywhere. But it was too late. The same people who laughed before now had nowhere to run.
The Ark began to float on the powerful waves. It moved safely, protected by Allah, while everything else was being destroyed.
Inside the Ark, the believers stayed calm, knowing that Allah was their protector. Outside, the flood covered everything—houses, trees, and even mountains.
This was not just a punishment, but also a powerful lesson for humanity: when people ignore truth again and again, consequences follow.
Nuh (AS) stood firm through it all. His patience, obedience, and ایمان became a shining example for all generations to come.
গল্পের নাম: "ধৈর্য ও বিশ্বাসের প্রতীক – নুহ (আ.)"
হযরত নুহ (আ.) ছিলেন আল্লাহর একজন মহান নবী। তিনি এমন এক জাতির কাছে প্রেরিত হয়েছিলেন, যারা আল্লাহকে ভুলে গিয়ে মূর্তি পূজা শুরু করেছিল। তারা "ওয়াদ", "সুওয়া", "ইয়াগুস", "ইয়াউক" ও "নাসর" নামের মূর্তিগুলোকে উপাসনা করত।
নুহ (আ.) তাদের কাছে বারবার আল্লাহর বাণী পৌঁছে দেন। তিনি বলতেন, "তোমরা একমাত্র আল্লাহর ইবাদত করো, তাঁর কোনো শরীক নেই।" কিন্তু তার জাতি তার কথা শুনতে চাইত না। তারা তাকে উপহাস করত, অপমান করত, এমনকি পাগল বলেও ডাকত।
তবুও নুহ (আ.) হাল ছাড়েননি। তিনি দিন-রাত, গোপনে ও প্রকাশ্যে মানুষকে সত্যের পথে ডাকতে থাকেন। বছরের পর বছর কেটে যায়—দশ বছর, একশ বছর, দুইশ বছর… এভাবে তিনি প্রায় ৯৫০ বছর ধরে তার জাতিকে দাওয়াত দেন।
কিন্তু এত দীর্ঘ সময়ের মধ্যেও খুব অল্পসংখ্যক মানুষই তার কথা মেনে নেয়। বেশিরভাগ মানুষ অহংকারে অন্ধ হয়ে থাকে। তারা বলত, "তুমি তো আমাদের মতোই একজন মানুষ, আমরা কেন তোমার কথা শুনবো?"
একসময় আল্লাহ নুহ (আ.)-কে জানিয়ে দেন যে, তার জাতির যারা ঈমান আনেনি, তারা আর কখনও বিশ্বাস করবে না। তখন নুহ (আ.) দুঃখভরে আল্লাহর কাছে দোয়া করেন।
আল্লাহ তাকে নির্দেশ দেন একটি বিশাল নৌকা তৈরি করতে। আশ্চর্যের বিষয় হলো—এই নৌকা বানাতে বলা হয় মরুভূমির মতো শুকনো জায়গায়, যেখানে কোনো নদী বা সমুদ্র ছিল না।
নুহ (আ.) আল্লাহর নির্দেশ মেনে নৌকা তৈরি করতে শুরু করেন। তার জাতির লোকেরা তাকে দেখে হাসাহাসি করত। তারা বলত, "এই বৃদ্ধ মানুষটি পাগল হয়ে গেছে! শুকনো জমিতে নৌকা বানাচ্ছে!"
কিন্তু নুহ (আ.) তাদের কথায় কান দেননি। তিনি জানতেন, আল্লাহর আদেশ কখনো ভুল হয় না।
অবশেষে সেই ভয়াবহ দিনের সূচনা হলো। আকাশ থেকে প্রবল বৃষ্টি নামতে শুরু করল, আর জমিন থেকেও পানি বের হতে লাগল। চারদিকে পানি আর পানি। আল্লাহর নির্দেশে নুহ (আ.) তার অনুসারীদের এবং প্রতিটি প্রাণীর এক জোড়া করে নৌকায় তুলে নেন।
এই সময় একটি হৃদয়বিদারক ঘটনা ঘটে। নুহ (আ.)-এর নিজের ছেলে তার কথা মানেনি। সে পাহাড়ে আশ্রয় নিতে চেয়েছিল। নুহ (আ.) তাকে ডাকলেন, "হে আমার সন্তান! আমাদের সঙ্গে নৌকায় উঠে পড়ো, কাফেরদের সঙ্গে থেকো না।"
কিন্তু সে বলল, "আমি পাহাড়ে উঠে যাব, এটা আমাকে রক্ষা করবে।"
নুহ (আ.) বললেন, "আজ আল্লাহর আদেশ থেকে কেউই রক্ষা পাবে না, শুধু তিনি যাকে দয়া করবেন।"
এরপরই এক বিশাল ঢেউ এসে তাদের মাঝে বাধা হয়ে দাঁড়াল, এবং তার ছেলে পানিতে ডুবে গেল।
অবশেষে, আল্লাহর গজবে পুরো জাতি ধ্বংস হয়ে গেল, শুধু নুহ (আ.) ও তার অনুসারীরা রক্ষা পেলেন। অনেকদিন পর বৃষ্টি থেমে যায় এবং পানি কমে আসে। নৌকাটি একটি পাহাড়ে থেমে যায়, যাকে "জুদি পাহাড়" বলা হয়।
নুহ (আ.) আল্লাহর কাছে কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করেন। তিনি বুঝতে পারেন, আল্লাহর উপর ভরসা এবং ধৈর্যই মানুষের সবচেয়ে বড় শক্তি।
