Early in the morning, a familiar carriage reached the fortress covering the second city, Banan.
The guards let the Slouine's carriage pass the blockade without much inquiry - apparently he worked for a well known noble in Kararagi.
Nobles, in other words, were just wealthy merchants with a lot of influence - in Kararagi. There were different titles bestowed upon these merchants too.
'Kararagi doesn't have a government or king, mostly run by greedy merchants and the council of ten. The ten major city-states all had mayors acting as sole representatives. Slavery and prostitution was very rampant here too, if I remember right.' Orsted pondered internally.
In the end, it didn't feel very important to him. Orsted had no interest in being a merchant right now. However, he did see the potential in making a lot of money with his modern knowledge.
'....I will consider it if I ever need money.'
Banan was more secure in hindsight, as slavery was banned here.
Slouine moved the carriage towards a Blacksmith Shop immediately after entering Banan. His intentions of getting away from Orsted are apparent to anyone.
"Lord Orsted, we have reached the sword cutler." Slouine led Orsted into the shop with sword and shield signboard - hiding his fear behind a flattering expression.
Ignoring the old man at the reception, with a visibly frightened face - Orsted took a glance over all the swords showcased on the wall and the wooden boxes.
Going through the knowledge that he acquired from the template, Orsted felt that he could pretty much use any kind of sword. His knowledge in weapons was very comprehensive.
After glancing around a while, he chose a long double edged sword, which appeared in good condition as the best option.
'I like the katana and the rapier too, however they aren't optimal with the three main sword styles I know. This normal sword would be the most comfortable to use.'
Though he only had basic attainment in all the three sword styles, which didn't contain any magical sword technique - Orsted was confident with his choice.
'I haven't awakened my battle aura yet, after awakening it, I should be able to step into the same league as Wilhelm Van Astrea. In my case, instead of a normal battle aura - it should be a dragon battle aura, which is supposed to be dozens of times stronger than normal battle aura.'
Orsted lost himself into contemplation, since no one dared disturb him. After a while, he simply pointed towards the sword he chose.
"This will do."
"U-Understood."
After tying the sheath around his waist, the weight of the sword gave rise to an invisible confidence within him. Even if not absolute, he possessed enough strength to survive while being careful now.
Orsted looked at Slouine calmly: "You can go away after dropping me near the employment agency."
"Understood!" Slouine worked diligently and controlled the carriage towards the employment agency.
Orsted hadn't forgotten about his first quest from the system. He could have walked there, but thought otherwise.
It would be problematic to deal with dozens of ground dragons at once, if he walked through the streets. Hence, he decided to increase his strength more to be able to safely suppress them before strolling around for dragon points.
Watching out of the carriage's window, Orsted sighed feeling that he had really reincarnated.
The architecture of the city resembled the olden Japan, specifically the early-modern period feudal society of Japan. Most of the people wore kimonos too, making Orsted stare at them for a while.
"We have reached the destination, Sir..." Slouine called out to Orsted weakly.
Getting off the carriage, Orsted immediately felt many eyes turning toward him and the emotions in their eyes were familiar. The employment agency was more crowded than the sword cutler, he could already see dozens of people walking and freezing after seeing him.

Slouine's ground dragon appeared very resistant to separate with Orsted. Which led Orsted to order him again to be obedient to Slouine coldly.
Ground dragons cost a lot in this world, even if scared, Slouine wouldn't give up on it as a merchant. Knowing that, Orsted didn't have any intentions of demanding its ownership either.
Though, if Slouine didn't seem to have some influential superior - Orsted might have considered taking it....
After watching the carriage zoom away in the distance, Orsted walked into the employment agency with a cold face.
A familiar figure entered Orsted's vision - Crane Donahue. He ran this well-known employment agency and appeared briefly in sloth if route too.
Crane Donahue, the lizard-faced man, looked at Orsted with a wary gaze, there was even a flash of fighting intent that he suppressed quickly. Unlike ground dragons, lizardmen were more rational, being able to suppress their emotions.
Without a doubt, the existence standing before him was the - [Dragon god]. His bloodline screamed so at him internally. As he tried to suppress his instinct to fight him, his mind automatically began to form respect towards Orsted.
'He is more fatter than I expected and appears...weird with that apron.' Orsted felt Crane was more like a frogman than a lizard.
From his reaction, Orsted predicted that Crane had some dragon blood in him too, most likely from his ancestor.
This was good too, the other party should be able to solidify his moniker as the dragon god.
Finding a semblance of respect in the other party's eyes, Orsted frowned.
'So, if they try to suppress the impulse to fight me, it converts into respect?...This title has a few more mysteries to unwind still.'

"How can I help you, Mister....?" Crane spoke stiffly, but with a tone of respect.
"It's Orsted.... I came to register as a bounty hunter." His cold and intimidating voice reached Crane.
Crane quickly took out a parchment and began scribbling on it. Normally, he had to verify if the other party had some basic literacy, before offering any help - but he skipped this step altogether when with Orsted.
Bounty hunter was just a branch post after Mercenary - which was very well known in Kararagi.
"This form could be used as an identification wherever in the ten city-states, Mister Orsted. Any commission with a bounty on it can be accepted by you, they are all on the commission board there." Crane kept a professional attitude, nothing like how he acted with Subaru.
However, Orsted could see that the initial fear was slowly vanishing from Crane's eyes, only solemn respect being left behind.
'He might be one of the few people I can communicate with properly, for now.' Orsted decided to remember him and took the parchment with Crane's seal.
