Rei was able to be satisfied with his results after having the score of 3,635 for the boxing machine test. His mind felt at ease since behind the punch, he had put all his anger, rage and frustration into it. The feeling of weakness and desperation clearly sent him to push himself to be the very best of who he is now.
"I'm no longer the old person." He muttered to himself, remembering his days at Sir Ellis Kadoorie High before replacing it with the imagination of being able to stand next to his fellow peers as an equal despite the clear difference to their own social hierarchy status.
"I am Rei Nishimura of Kamigami Academy and the vessel of an ancient being that resides within me. I will handle the responsibility to do my very best until my last breath!" He thought to himself before proceeding to head to the next stage upon Eunji escorting him to the next appropriate venue.
"The test for this one is to defeat the opponent." Eunji said as one of the staff entered the ring which Rei recognised as the person who had mocked him before.
"Use any means of defeating your opponent."
Eunji's statement gave Rei the idea to humble the man before him. "I won't give him a chance." He clenched his fists as he awaited for Eunji's signal to begin the match which most of the students were waiting for them to begin.
The man in front looked to be unfazed, still having the cocky smile and arrogant expression on his face as they immediately went into a stance that Rei could read the man's improper form and started to wonder how they were able to teach students.
"Begin."
As soon as Eunji had signalled the two to begin, the fight was immediately over with Rei who looked like he just teleported in front of the man while the latter was just sent out of the ring out of nowhere. "It's already over?" One of the students uttered in total disbelief, surprised at Rei's immediate victory over the match as the male could only brush himself off.
"Damn… I know this prowess is not as good as Sylvie's but it's what I can do at best…" Rei thought to himself, his mind processing with how heavy the copied version of Sylvie's prowess although he couldn't amplify it or have the same power as hers.
Rei could copy any prowess that he could find but there are two major flaws when copying one. One of them is the obvious mental type prowess since they do not show how the prowess works and its ability to function. Then lastly, ones who are higher level than him.
There are times he could copy their prowess but it takes a lot of spiritual energy for him to mimic that final product of the copied prowess although it would be the weaker variant of the original prowess. In this case, Rei had a weaker variant of Sylvie's time manipulation which could only function as a speed and additional power enhancement. Due to this copied version, Rei's spiritual energy is immediately drained for trying to maintain the prowess without being able to amplify it since he's weaker than Sylvie when it comes to prowess level and ranking itself.
Rei deactivated his prowess, finally feeling himself relaxed and being able to recollect himself while feeling Sylvie's prowess fading away. "Jeez… No wonder why she's so strong." He muttered to himself as he admired the power behind Sylvie's prowess, "She basically trained this prowess to the best that she can."
He was about to leave when one of the students with white hair that he recognised said something that made every student start doubting his strength and level.
"Is that alright? We all started weak so it's understandable that he's the gym and PE teacher til now but with the new student? Isn't that an overkill for them to handle against a god-tier?" Haru asked with a tone of sarcasm.
Eunji sighs before telling Rei to get back on the ring. "You want a fair assessment right? Then don't complain later." She said as she followed suit which surprised him.
"Rei Nishimura. This new final test will be different from your fellow schoolmates. Your goal is to subdue or to last at least 30 minutes in a spar against me." Eunji said, which made Rei confused whether or not she's joke until the passive of his prowess alerted him.
Rei barely avoided Eunji's strike as his cheek was grazed a little. "She's fast! Faster than Sylvie even if she used her prowess." He thought to himself as he wiped the blood dripping down on his cheek, "I can't get a grasp of her prowess despite that immense speed that I just encountered."

Sylvie was watching the spar as she admired Eunji's speed and combat ability with the way she was pressuring Rei to make hasty and risky moves. "Goddamn… I know she's a professional sorceress but I didn't expect her to be this powerful…" She muttered to herself, the powerful aura of the strawberry blonde almost covering the entire area.
If she had to bet on who's winning, there was no choice and shame for picking Eunji since it was obvious from the match on who got the advantage and disadvantage
"How is he still standing?" One of the people stated which got her interest as she listened to their conversation.
"Is she going easy on him?"
"I don't think so… Maybe he really has the ability to be on their level?"
"Probably… Cause if it was senior Yamashita, it would've been a stalemate or whoever got the advantage at the end."
Sylvie was surprised but didn't show her expression. If that statement was true, then Rei would be in the spotlight longer than what they had assumed. "Rei…" She mumbles under her breath as it had only been six minutes when the spar had started.
She noticed a familiar pink-haired girl who looked to be amazed by Rei's performance against Eunji's ongoing attacks. "Never saw someone else be able to go toe to toe with her?" Sylvie asked as Hinata was surprised by her sudden appearance.
"Y-Yeah…" She stuttered before continuing, "Why is he using his prowess?" Hinata asked, curious with Rei's prowess ever since she had seen him use flames similar to Haru, wind prowess similar to her, speed and muscle type prowess similar to her fellow schoolmates.
"Oh that? Rei can't copy any prowess that he had copied earlier since he deactivated his prowess when the earlier assessment was finished." Sylvie answered, which surprised Hinata. After all, mimicry type prowess is rare and mostly described to be a myth or legend due to its nature to copy. "I see. Does that mean he's fighting like a 'blank' at the moment?" She asked in which Sylvie nodded her head before adding more, "Yeah but with additional power to boost his physical attributes although not that much but to an extent that he himself can't get hurt that badly except for devastating prowess usage."
Hinata was impressed since most people that would spar against Eunji would lose almost instantly even if she's not going serious with them. "Man… Did he train a lot to last this long and have this much power?" She muttered to herself before becoming more impressed when Rei somehow landed a clean hit onto Eunji's forearm which blocked her stomach.
"No way! He landed a hit?" Hinata said while Sylvie noticed Rei's expression of panic and desperation.
"He's probably thinking of ways to advance the fight since he's running out of stamina." Sylvie observed as she saw how Rei would try to take a short break but Eunji would take that advantage to catch him off guard although the latter would react immediately.

Rei was having doubts with his own skills but knew it was a fair fight since his combat skills were just at best on his level while Eunji's own fighting capabilities were just higher than what he had assumed.
"If I keep on playing defense with risky decisions then I wouldn't be able to advance!" He thought to himself before using every ounce of his spiritual energy to boost his physical strength. "I just have to make the opening instead!"
His approach made a big breakthrough as the sorceress appeared to be surprised and instinctively used her prowess seriously as a glacier immediately formed which Rei almost got hit with if it weren't for the passive ability of his prowess warning him of Eunji's spiritual energy fluctuating.
"Holy fxck…" Rei uttered as he felt a large amount of his spiritual energy being drained upon copying Eunji's prowess. "It's all or nothing…" he gritted his teeth before dashing in to continue the fight.
Rei was determined to win as he had forgotten the important task.
The task was just to last long enough against Eunji.
