Skylar and Alucard looked around the door, but couldn't get it to open, even wth Alucard's inhuman strength.
"I can't feel any air gaps anywhere," Skylar said as she felt along the bottom, trying to slip her hands under neath or into any gaps. "Can you get a grip on it, Alucard?"
"No, it's like it's attached to the floor," Alucard said as he stood up. Skylar looked at Trevor for an explanation.
"My family had a trick to get in and out and open the door and close it," Trevor said, looking at the door.
"Then did you see them open it?" Skylar asked, folding her arms.
"I don't know," Trevor said with a huff. "When my parents took me down there, the door was already open. There was a trick to it."
"So no one taught you how to use this 'Trick', or what it is?" Skylar asked.
"They said they would teach me when I was older," Trevor said. "This door was put in by one of our ancestors."
"I see," Sypha said. "So it is like how we speakers transmit knowledge. Your parents knew the trick, but didn't know where it came from or what it really was. Stand back."
Sypha then stood up and handed her torch to Skylar. Skylar backed away along with both Trevor and Alucard.
