Chapter 7 - CHAPTER 7: Cosmic Journey

The beautiful, mesmerizing colorful lights of stars, planets, and worlds could be seen while Elder Cryzton and Zaiveil's unconscious spirit traveled across the cosmos.

The vast expanse of space stretched out before them, a kaleidoscope of hues and textures that seemed to shift and shimmer like the surface of a soap bubble.

The stars twinkled like diamonds, their light piercing through the darkness like a thousand tiny needles.

The planets, each one a unique world into itself, hung suspended in the void like glowing orbs, their surfaces is a riot of myriad colors.

Elder Cryzton's spirit form floated beside Zaiveil's, his gaze fixed on her with a mixture of worry and concern. It had been half an hour since her spirit had gone unconscious, and Elder Cryzton had been keeping a close eye on her since then.

He had expected her to stir awake sooner, but the spirits consciousness could be unpredictable sometimes.

As he watched, Zaiveil's spirit began to stir awake, her eyes fluttering open like the delicate wings of a butterfly.

At first, her gaze was unfocused, but as she adjusted herself to the surroundings, her eyes widened with wonder. She took in the breathtaking beauty of the cosmos, the stars and planets stretching out before her like a heavenly celestial canvas.

Her gaze darted to the transparent white sphere that enveloped them, its surface shimmering with a soft, ethereal light. She reached out a hand to touch it, but her fingers passed through it without resistance, as if it were made of mist or smoke.

"It was called the Traveler Spirit Shield." Elder Cryzton said, noticing her movement. "A shield used by powerful spirit charmers to protect the spirit while traveling around the cosmos."

Zaiveil's eyes snapped back to him, her gaze piercing. "Why can't I touch it?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Because your spirit hasn't stabilized yet." Elder Cryzton replied, his voice gentle but laced with a hint of caution. "Your incomplete soul is powerless against spells and charms. It's vulnerable to everything around cosmos."

Zaiveil's gaze narrowed, her eyes seeming to bore into Elder Cryzton's very soul.

"Incomplete soul?" she asked, her voice cold and detached.

Elder Cryzton took a deep breath, knowing he had to tread carefully. "Come, sit beside me." he said, gesturing to a spot beside him. "I'll tell you everything you want to know, from the start."

Zaiveil obeyed, her spirit form floating across to settle beside him. As she sat, Elder Cryzton began to speak, his voice weaving a story of a royal tale.

"Our Clan resides in a kingdom called Celestia, which is currently reigned by Emperor Zyron and Empress Hernia." he began, his eyes locked on Zaiveil's. "The royal couple has five children, Prince Herox, the eldest, Prince Zyver and Prince Heriot, the twins, Prince Zyrcus, the fourth child, and lastly, the youngest and the only princess."

As Elder Cryzton spoke, the cosmos around them seemed to shift and swirl, as if the very fabric of reality was responding to their presence. The stars twinkled like diamonds, and the planets seemed to hum with an otherworldly symphony.

"When Empress Hernia was in labor for the youngest child, everyone in the Hyeleux Palace was filled with excitement and anticipation." Elder Cryzton continued.

"The air was thick with tension, the courtiers and servants bustling about with a sense of joy, and then, after what seemed like an eternity, the newborn baby was born. It's a girl, and the very first princess in the history of the Hyeleux Royal Clan." he paused, studying Zaiveil's expression, but her face remained impassive, her eyes fixed intently on his.

"Won't you say anything?" he asked, curious why Zaiveil wasn't asking any questions at all.

"No, just continue." Zaiveil coldly replied

Elder Cryzton nodded, his spirit form inclining in a gentle nod. "Alright, then. The firstborn princess's birth brought joy to the whole kingdom, but all of it shattered when the newborn princess didn't cry, and her eyes are tightly closed, not like a newborn baby at all. She was breathing fine, like a sleeping baby doll in the eyes of everyone inside the chamber of the empress. However, as a spirit charmer myself, I could see that half of her soul was outside of her body crying, while the remaining half was in a deep sleep inside her body."

As Elder Cryzton spoke, the memories of that fateful day came flooding back to him, and his voice took on an undescribable tone.

"After seeing that her soul was split in two, I immediately told them her situation, which made everyone bewildered and scared. Having a split soul has never been heard of in the whole planet of Creignmeia, so the princess's case is unique and the only one in the whole planet." Elder Cryzton stopped for a moment but later looked at Zaiveil after hearing what she said next.

"That princess was me." she said, her voice wasn't a question but a firm statement.

Zaiveil's gaze didn't flicker, but Elder Cryzton could sense a growing intensity within her.
