"Indeed, my princess, the youngest daughter of the Hyeleux clan is you." Elder Cryzton said, his eyes locked on Zaiveil's, searching for any flicker of emotion. But her face remained impassive, a mask of calmness that gave away nothing.
"What happened next?" Zaiveil asked, her voice devoid of curiosity, yet somehow, it seemed to hold a hint of something.
Elder Cryzton sighed, his spirit form wavering slightly as he recalled the events of the past. "After I revealed your condition, we've searched for two days, but we never find any solution. We're all helpless, because that's the first case of a split soul in our entire world."
"But your body condition was worsening, it couldn't handle the lack of supplements, so one of the elders suggested that, I, a healing charmer and a wood charmer, should use our combined abilities to create a nutrient field barrier that could maintain the healthy and growing state of your body" As Elder Cryzton spoke, the memories of that fateful day came flooding back, and his voice cracked a little.
He remembered the worried faces of the royal couple, the frantic searches for a solution, and the endless nights spent poring over ancient tomes.
"Your body can't be touched at all, and inside that nutrient field, you're just sleeping peacefully," Elder Cryzton continued, his eyes clouding over with memories. "Your parents and brothers are worriedly sick, the royal couple even offered a huge reward to anyone who could find a solution for your situation, while the young princes also helped in looking for a possible remedy to your case."
The scene unfolded in Elder Cryzton's mind like a vivid movie, the grand halls of the palace, filled with the most skilled charmers and healers of the kingdom, all working tirelessly to find a solution for the princess's plight.
"After a few more days, your second brother, Zyver, brought an old ancient book to me." Elder Cryzton said, a hint of a smile on his face. "It's an old ancient book full of unique charm spells, and inside that book, we've found the solution."
Zaiveil's gaze didn't flicker, but Elder Cryzton could sense a growing intensity within her.
"Cosmic Soul Connection, that's the spirit spell I used to facilitate the transfer of half of your soul to planet Gaia, allowing it to heal and grow." Elder Cryzton stated, his eyes locked on Zaiveil's. "After 18 years of waiting, your soul can now be reunited, and could rejoin your real body."
"After i was transferred here, what happened to my original body?" Zaiveil asked, her voice still devoid of emotion.
Elder Cryzton's expression turned somber. "It remain in Creignmeia, within the Empress's chamber it was being nourish by the combined efforts of healing and wood charmers while the half of your soul that remained within your body is unconscious, and never wake up even for a single moment. Base on our analysis, we conclude that only half of your soul can remain conscious while in a state of a splitted soul."
Zaiveil's gaze didn't waver, but Elder Cryzton could sense her gaze, seemingly wanted to know more.
"What about the body I inhabitated on Gaia?" Zaiveil asked, her voice still calm, but Elder Cryzton could sense a hint of unease beneath the surface. "Was there an original soul residing within her before I took over?"
Surprised by the sudden question, Elder Cryzton froze, his spirit form wavering slightly.
"The body you occupied was originally born on planet Gaia, and it was empty when I transferred your soul into it. The original owner was dead because of being throwned by someone into the Moonlit Lake, and now that you leave that body, it will revert to its natural state, it will decayed in time, as if it had never existed before." Elder Cryzton's expression turned somber, a mix of emotions swirling within, thankful that the original owner died so their princess could use that body, and sadness for the miserable ending of a little baby.
"Do you have any further questions, my princess?" Elder Cryzton asked, his voice gentle.
"Yes," Zaiveil replied, her voice still devoid of emotion. "Why am I unable to feel any emotions?" as Zaiveil asked the question, the cosmos around them seemed to grow quieter, as if the very stars and planets were holding their breath and wanted to listened more.
