Jade's eyes were fixed on the mirror, her hands resting on her wrist just after she secured the final bracelet in place, she felt a lot better, not sure what the nurse did but the pain from the sprain was gone and the swelling greatly reduced.
She had settled on black jean trousers, a red shirt tucked in, and a long black winter jacket over it all. She also wore thick leather boots. These clothes had come from the new box Eden delivered earlier that day. There were a few outfits inside appropriate for the weather, and it made her wonder just how much time Van spent thinking about what he could do for her.
Back to why her eyes were fixed on the mirror. Jade was lost in thought. She looked at herself, wondering why she had put so much effort into looking this good. For whom? For Van? It was unsettling that he had been living rent free in her head for the past two days.
