A tense atmosphere, our hero's heart is beating rapidly, will he survive?
OH WHAT? STOP TREATING IT AS IF IM ABOUT TO DIE, IM JUST GOING TO INTRODUCE MYSELF!
"Hello... Yuki, Yui. My name is... Jayce Tachibana" I say, finally knowing my name after 2 days of being a background character.
Yui glares angrily at me. I think he didnt have a good first impression back at the café.
"..." Yuki just doesnt care.
'UGH! How does Carla even deal with them!'
"Come on! Hmph, you guys should interact!" Carla says.
"Fine... hello." Yui says reluctantly.
Carla pokes his cheek, "You're so boring!"
A slight blush appears on Yui's cheeks, "Dont touch me like that..."
'They're really meant for each other huh...' I smile while looking at their reactions
'I cant really be jealous. I mean, I dont have the right to.'
Yui catches me looking at the both of them, and gives me a glare. I just give him a thumbs up, and for some reason he looks angrier. I forgot he was antisocial.
"I dont mean it in a bad way" I say calmly, I dont know why but... for some reason I dont feel nervous at all. I dont know what calmed me down.
His expression lightens up, although still wary of me. I laugh awkwardly because of the fact that he is still wary of me.
Yuki being indifferent as ever walks up to me and offers me a handshake. "Nice to meet you."
Accepting her handshake, my heartbeat rising once again, "N-Nice to meet you too."
Due to my nervousness I grip her hand tighter.
"You're gripping my hand a bit too tightly..." she says, still in the same monotonous tone.
"O-Oh my bad" I quickly release my grip and my face becomes bright red.
"Are you-"
"NO, IM NOT SICK!" I say, trying to make sure my heart calms down so it doesn't explode.
"...I wasnt going to ask that, I was meant to ask if you happen to be an extreme introvert."
Due to that fact, the embarrassment made my heart beat even faster, and everything goes black.
Suddenly I stand in a slightly illuminated room, bottles of beer is scattered all around the room but seemingly no one is inside. Then suddenly, the intense cries of a child can be heard in the room.
"IM SORRY!!!" The voice sounds that of a child.
"ITS ALL YOUR FAULT!" This voice, deeper than the one before, seems to be the child's father.
Then a loud snapping sound fills the room, followed up by the boy's bloodcurdling screams.
The scene suddenly switches to a kitchen, it looks like an ordinary kitchen, but one knife is missing from the knife holder. Then a splat sound occurs, but rather than the little boy screaming, it seems to be the father who screamed. Which is quickly followed up by another splat, then another, after another, after another. While the little boy is laughing maniacally.The kitchen then illuminates into flashes of blue and red. The scene slowly starts disappearing as I slowly start opening my eyes, and realizing I was on a bed in the infirmary.
"Oh, you're awake." A strand of silver hair lays on my face, as I start regaining my vision, Yuki, mere inches above my face is in front of me.
Although still confused and a bit traumatized from the dream I just had, I responded as if I didnt just witness something horrifying. "What happened? Also you're a bit close to my face."
"Sorry, your face is fairly attractive, I think I got captivated." She says, without any signs of emotions.
Flustered by her blunt answer, I look away. "You're so blunt..."
"I say what I believe is true" she responds.
My face becomes redder than before and I continue to look away from her. Although... what are these dreams I've been having lately?
