Yet, for the past hour that came after, Caesar couldn't remove the image of her in his head.
He threw his eyeglasses to the side, stood up, and took his shirt off.
Caesar moved to his bed and lay down.
Sleep didn't claim him as soon as his head touched the pillow. For a long moment, he stared into the dark before he finally closed his eyes.

Aurora woke up late.
She sat up with a start and glanced around her. Golden sunrays spilling into the wide living room.
Still feeling groggy, she stood up and moved close to the window.
Through the window, she could see that the sky was clear. There was no snow falling anymore.
It was a different scene, something she had never seen before.
Back in Dominik's house, she was confined within the walls of their bedroom. Occasionally, she could roam around when he's not around. But her favorite place was always the balcony.
