The three of us were excused from our last class early. So we decided to go convince Tatsuya to come with us to the student council room.
We got to class 1-E's class room. I was about to knock when suddenly Sakura through the door open
"Hey Tatsuya we come to take you to the student council room" everyone looked flabbergasted and suprised by the sudden interruption. With the exception of Erika.
"Oooooh someone's into trouble." She said with a cheeky grin.
"Ouch!" Said Sakura as I chopped her on the head
"That's not how we are supposed to handle this, Sakura." I said I tried not to sound annoyed, even though I was, as it would only encourage her
"Eh really?" She asked.
At that point I couldn't help it and facepalmed.
"Sorry for the intrusion students of class 1-E. I've been told to bring people I suggested to the student council office to be evaluate for joing the disciplinary committee." I said
That got people murmuring because all the current members of the disciplinary committee were course one student. Tatsuya was glaring at me again. He seems to do that a lot though. It's not like I'm trying to get involved in his life. Honestly I only suggested him so he could open carry his CAD so he can better protect Miyuki if necessary. I signaled in military code 'allow me to explain atleast.' hoping he'd agree. He sighed then nodded his glare not leaving his eyes. He got up grabbed his things and left with us.
"So you mind explaining to me why you recommended me to the disciplinary committee. after you told me to lay low." He said and to be fair I did say that. So he had reason to be the equivalent of upset for him when Miyuki ISN'T involved.
"That's true, but that was before I knew the benefits of the disciplinary committee. If you join as I'm suggesting you will be allowed to carry your CAD openly around campus." I said
'Which honestly was a weird benefit. As it only really matters to weapon type CADs. The bracelet and smartphone shaped ones where both easily concealed and easily accessible. However In Tatsuya's case it was a blessing in disguise as as he uses his personal pistol type CAD. Although he can use other CAD it's with much less proficiency' I thought
"And because of that you will be able to guard your sister more effectively" I said
Tatsuya stared silently at me for a minute
"Alright a logical explanation. However " Said Tatsuya before I cut him off
"You don't truly need to stand out or do anything Kuro and Sakura are also joining. Sakura being the appointed member to the student council as well." I said assuaging any other worries he might have.
He just nodded understanding that this was just and excuse to allow him to open carry to some extent.
The way to the student was quiet. Well as quiet as Sakura humming her theme song would be anyway.
I opened the door and we entered seeing the entire student council this time. As vice president Hattori Hanzo was there too. He was staring out the window like he was some anime protagonist. All I could think though was 'Heh, he has a ninja name.'
"Oh. Ryu and Sakura you convinced Kuro and Tatsuya to come too good" said Mayumi
Hanzo turned around to look at us. He saw that Tatsuya had no emblem on his uniform. A look of disdain flashed across his face. As he made his way towards us.
Tatsuya and Kuro were standing in front of Sakura and I. As we were the ones who recommended them.
"I'm Gyobu Hattori, the vice president. We welcome you welcome you to the student council Ryu.
He completely ignored Tatsuya, but gave a polite nod of acknowledgment to Kuro.
"Let's get started A-Chan your on." Said Mayumi
"Right." responded Azusa getting up to explain things
"Okay, how about we get moving then" Mari said to Tatsuya, Kuro, and Sakura. Sakura had a malicious gleam in her eyes focused on Hanzo.
"Where to?" Asked Tatsuya
"To disciplinary headquarters. I suspect it would be easier for you to watch and learn from there." Answered Mari
"Ms Watanabe please wait a moment" said Hanzo
'Ah this moment. Well I'm not gonna have and outburst like the bro-con, however I do want to kick his ass as he is insulting my judgement.
"What is it Vice President Hanzo Gyobushoujou Hattori?" She said in a slight mischievous tone.
"I told you not to call me by my full name!" He shouted annoyed.
"Fine Vice President Hanzo Hattori." She said clearly teasing him.
"It's Gyobu Hattori!" He complained.
"But that's a government post not a name. Isn't your family- ?" She said before Hanzo cut her off.
"We no longer hold that office. At this school I'm registered as Gyo-. Wait that's not the point." Said Hanzo
"What's your problem?" Asked Mari
"I disapprove of this first year being appointed to the disciplinary committee. No weed has ever been assigned that specific position." He said Mari was about to say something probably something along the lines of how that word is forbidden. I, and apparently Sakura too, just couldn't hold it in anymore.
"Ahahahahahahahahahahah" we laughed hard
Kuro was giggling but not full laughing
The entire student council was taken aback by our sudden laughter.
"Oh man is he really the Vice President?" I said still laughing slightly I knew the answer but it was just too funny.
"What's that supposed to mean!?" Hanzo shouted.
"Oh man I thought you were a clown with how you were talking too funny. How did you get to where you are now with narrow views like that? I assume based on the "weed" comment you think he weak because he's not as good at high speed casting and such. What an utter blatant fool." I said then started laughing again
He looked baffled like he was about to say something in retort.
"He sakura you want to rip him apart or me?" I asked still giggling
"No, no you destroy him now I'll do it later." She said still giggling but revealing she wanted to fight him.
Alright I'll dismantle his argument you kick his ass.
"Okay a few problems with your argument Ninja Boy. First Chairman Watanabe is magic always used to apprehend offenders."
"No. Why?" Asked Mari she already knew I said Tatsuya is strong. Because I was a soldier and could tell. Atleast that's the excuse I gave them.
"Exactly my point physical capabilities matter too which are not tested by the entrance exams in the slightest. If physical abilities weren't important you wouldn't allow Kuro to join despite being course one student. As I'm sure all of you in the student council know by now most of the magic she specializes in is ranked B-A in danger level." I said seeing the student council member nod in agreement and Hanzo at my statement.
"Second the ability to out think opponents. President Mayumi you have access to the entrance exams scores correct?" I asked
"Yes I do." she said not sure what I was getting at.
"Tell me who was the the top scorer on it because I know it certainly wasn't me." I said
"I think it was Tats-." Her eyes widened in realization
"Yes it was Tatsuya he scored first in the written exams. Although most of that knowledge is theoretical. He has the ability to apply it were other cannot due to my third point. Which I believe that our disciplinary chair would've brought up. He can read spell sequences as they are being launched. Making him able to know what the enemy will do before it happens allowing him to create countermeasures. Even if he was not as strong or smart as he is. That ability alone would be invaluable to knowing what spell an offender used to dish out punishment accordingly." I said Hanzo was scowling. Mari was nodding. Kuro and Mayumi, for some reason, were staring with sparkles in their eyes. Sakura was looking at me with a proudly
"Normally I'd forgive your ignorance as you've never been on a real battlefield. But you've insulted my judgment of others and that I can't let slide." I said I was still smiling but it was the kind that didn't reach my eyes.
"You a mere member of the hundred families. Someone who has not seen the battlefields of war. Someone who hasn't killed dare." My voice and anger rising
"I challenge you to a duel however you will be fighting Sakura instead of me." I said sharing a knowing look with her.
He looked insulted.
Honestly fighting her is worse than me but if I fought he'd be disqualified from having to use a B rank spell to even hurt me. Honestly my magic resistance is stupid. Outside of some very absurdly lethal magic, like Tatsuya's Material burst. B rank is C to me and A rank is B. On a side note Tatsuya did try mist dispersion on me once out of reflex when we spared one time. Scared the hell out of me when I glowed blue and vomited blood suddenly. The pain was indescribable too.
"Fine! I accept your challenge!" He said
Sakura and I shared a malicious smile.
On our way to the duel are I whispered to Sakura
"So how are you gonna do this?" I whispered
"At first I thought to break him slowly. However I realized that wouldn't work as I'm course one student it wouldn't hit the same. So I'm gonna speed blitz him" she whispered back,
"Good make it hurt." I said
Despite knowing he would object it still pissed me off. I'm starting to wonder if those gods gave me a dragon's pride instead of the dragon seed.
We arrived at the dueling arena 1 were Hanzo and the rest of the student council were waiting. Tatsuya and Miyuki were of to the side. I guess Tatsuya wanted to see what Sakura could do in a fight.
"Sakura don't hold back, but keep it non lethal " I despite saying I wouldn't have an outburst like Miyuki. I was genuinely angry but not for Tatsuya I don't care that much about him no. I care that he questioned my judgement. Me a trained soldier on if someone is strong utter clown. Sakuras eyes widened at my statement and smiled maliciously.
The student council had not seen Sakura use magic. It was about to get absurd.
Sakura pulled out her "CAD" in reality it was a fake that glowed like one when the person holding it used magic.
With both in position Mari explained the rules as she was the referee. Hanzo looked like he was planning his attack in his head. Which he probably was. As Mari swung her hand Hanzo began moving. He tried to use magic but it shattered. It seems she's figured out the principles behind Gram Dispersion. Hanzo's eyes widened in shock. Sakura then snapped her fingers.

This just startled and confused the student council members. As they had no idea where the music was coming from.
Hanzo's concentration lapsed for a second but then Sakura cast one of her origin spells based of her sub admins powers. Specifically Violet's id_es skill Crack Ice. At first glance it is a simple paralysis spell but it's not. It is a form of time stop based on the users sight. However unlike a regular time stop the entity stopped is fully conscious and aware during the freeze. Sakura then quick cast another spell and… nothing happend. Then she undid Crack Ice.
"AAAGGGGGHHHHH!!!" Hanzo screamed and collapsed quickly after.
"HANZO!" shouted Mayumi as she ran over to check him
"Oh he's fine just overloaded which is painful but not lethal." Said Sakura
I looked over a Tatsuya and Miyuki. Tatsuya looked a little haggard and I caught the end of Miyuki using that cleaning spell she knows. I guess he tried to read the spell Sakura used and he couldn't handle it. I don't blame him though. The spells Sakura constructs are infinitely more complex and completely unusable for anyone else due to the sheer absurdity of the processing power needed to use them.
"What did you do?" Asked Mari CAD drawn and cautious of Sakura.
"Hmm, I'm simple terms I DDossed his brain." Sakura said as if that was something simple or easy.
"How did you manage that? I don't know of any spell that can do that." Asked Ichihara
"Of course you wouldn't I made it on the spot. Also it was easy I just in enhanced his senses to an absurd degree that his brain knocked him unconscious to prevent injury it's not a painless process though." She said
The student council was still processing the I made this spell on the spot thing she just said. Azusa was the first to snap out of it though.
Uhh, I saw Hanzo stop for a second before then though. what happend? She asked
Sakura didn't answer and acted,like the question was never asked.
"Sakura are you going to stop the music by time soon?" I asked
"Well I wasn't but since you asked Ryu-Chan." she said snapping her fingers again and the music stopped

Not even hiding it huh well 2 reasons one the scene where he fought was over in an instant in the anime anyway so kinda hard to expand on his abilities when he has less on screen combat time than Kirihara and Leo. The second reason is despite him being a dick in this one scene he genuinely gets better latter unlike that little shit shun who it took falling in love with a girl from the no head dragon triad to change.
