From my side, I heard the screech of a chair. I tilted my head to see Ben, whose demeanour seemed to grow more haggard with every passing hour.
"What bed? They'll become our coffins at this rate." He rubbed his eyes wearily. "Did you finish what I asked you to do?"
"Yeah. I shared it with you. Take a look in the project's folder; it should be there."
"Alright. Remember that we also need the suggested samples. We'll be having a meeting after lunch about that."
"Sigh... I'm on it. I'm already halfway through the list."
"Alright. Thanks."
"No prob."
Work has been—well, 'busy' sounds too cute. I would say it's been enslaving.
We're three weeks into the project development already. I've learned a lot, but I still feel like I'm falling behind.
I took a look at my bustling team. Occasionally, they came to me so I could help them with their tasks, which was a small comfort.
