It is now the day of the outing, and Logan was paired up with Jack the popular kid, 'it's probably because we're going with a strong group and their going farther in the forest', as he thought that they met up with a their group.
"Hey!" Jack shouted, "we're the kids from the advanced class! Nice to meet you"
Nick turned around, and was about to also stick out his hand till he noticed Logan behind the big kid, "Logan, what are you doing here!?" Nick said baffled, "oh, hey Nick" said Logan "what are the chances we're in the same group" while trying to steer the conversation away from his presence in the advanced class, Nick didn't entertain him though.
"Why are you with him I thought you skipped", "Oh I'm in the advanced class, anyway shouldn't you introduce yourself to him" said Logan pointing at Jack, "oh right nice to meet you" Nick quickly said shaking his hand before quickly continuing to berate Logan with more questions.
Jack continued to introduce himself to all the other kids, then he finally said " alright, let's get going" saving Logan from getting berated with more questions.
The journey to the back was uneventful and slow, but he had learned to be patient, during his newborn days. And soon they got to the back, not without lower level encounters.
First there were a couple tiger type beasts, as well as one or two bears type beasts, Nick and his group quickly took care of them, it reminded how his guards took car of those wolves.
After a bit more beasts they finnaly got their match, it was a abnormally large squirrel, and this one used dark magic to suck the life out of the trees around.
Nicks group immediately put their guard up upon seeing the large squirrel. In the deep and dense forest lie a dungeon that leaked out dark energy, which made all the beasts closer to the center stronger, and it seems that this one went back up to the surface.
Their group was fighting valiantly til another heard it's cry and a group of squirrel all in different sizes, Logan had immediately sensed that they couldn't last for long, and in turn decided to take care of the ones outside so they could take care of them, but not without struggle.
In order to not be spotted he disabled his gravity magic, and circled around the group slaying 25, and took their energy with a new light and dark spell.
"Good work boss" said Jack, as Logan quickly returned from slaying the outsiders. "Thanks, don't tell them" Logan whispered back.
After struggling and taking a few hits some facing injuries, Jack said "good job I knew you could do it" while heading towards the ingured to carry them, and also telling Logan to follow.
They carried about 3 injured back and took them to the medical tent, while the mildly ingured took to the tent as well. Nick stood back by the advanced class asking why Logan was in the advanced class.
"It's because I'm leaving in half a year, and I have really good talent with a sword" Logan said continuing to stare towards the tent.
"So did that mean you held back against me?" "Yes I did" Logan said turning towards him, "may I request a duel?" Said Nick enthusiastically, it seemed he was eager to test his abilities.
"You may, but if you do I won't hold back." Said Logan, "and you will regret it", Nick suddenly heard a voice behind him that sounded like Logan, but he stood still.
Logan had used a wind divergent called sound magic that perfectly recreated his voice behind Nick.
Then Logan requested Nick to "please don't start any rumors of gossip about my attendance of the advanced class"
"Yea" nick quickly sputtered out, still confused about what happened
