The end of the year came to and Logan was going to leave the knights school, there wasn't any tears or sad farewells only respect of the decision Logan mad.
"We will miss you boss" Jack and the others said, "with your knowledge we will surely become stronger", they held deep respect for Logan because one that strong would normally withhold that knowledge, and only pass it on to an heir.
Logan had grown close to Nick and so his departure was indeed a surprise to him, even though he was going to still be close they couldn't see each other often. But for their other classmates they would see each other again after the break.
"Now that it's the end of the year can you finally tell me how strong you are, even if it's just a little bit" Nick said beaming with excitement in his fiery eyes, "fine" Logan said while sighing, "try to pick me up" he said simply.
Nick was going to try and lift Logan over his shoulder, until Logan wouldn't even budge. "What the heck!?" Nick said baffled that he couldn't even push him over.
"I used magic to make myself weigh more" he said sticking his chest out, Logan was only comfortable around Nick to act that way, and Nick never judged him, knowing that was his way of saying "I'm stronger than you" it only started after the joint class.
The time came to say goodbye to everyone some he would see again and others he wouldn't, he already said goodbye to the advanced class so the only people left were the teachers, and his other classmates not everyone in that class was necessarily close to Logan aside from Nick, so he simply said goodbye as they were saying goodbye to each other. More like saying see you, but the other kids didnt pay much mind, to them he didn't stand out much except for his status, which only ment he could be the heir to the null family.
But they didn't think so because he was average in swordsmanship and looks. It was time to say goodbye to Nick and his group as well, as he was walking over there he heard Nick telling them to try and pick Logan up.
Aside from the rest of the class nicks group also realized a little bit of his strength, but that was only because he was in the advanced class.
"Hey, it's him go try" a kid said pushing another that seemed doubtful of what Nick said, "may I try to pick you up" the kid who was pushed said, "if you can" Logan said gesturing for the kid to pick him up.
"Wow I really can't" he said shocked, "I told you" Nick said as if trying to express that he wasn't lying, "let me try" the kid who pushed the other said. And so Logan became a attraction at a theme park, after the attraction was over he said his goodbyes.
"Goodbye? Aren't you going to be here next year" a kid said confused, he seemed to ask the question everyone was wondering except Nick. "No I'm not going to be here next year" Logan said simply.
After he answered everyone's questions about his attendance of the advanced class being related to his absence next year, he finally said goodbye to everyone including Nick.
"Do you think we will see each other next year" Nick said somberly, "if you want I'm pretty sure we'll stay in the same dorms, you know how we share a boys dorm with the mages" said Logan. "Yeah, I'll be in the same dorm room so just come say hello after the first day" Nick said with a new hope to stay with his friend, "sounds good" Logan said while walking towards his carriage.
"Hello master, are you ready to depart", "yes thanks"
And soon a week passed, Logan was a little excited to return mainly because he missed Tess, but he also kind of missed his parents as well as his siblings.
As the carriage rolled up he saw a pair of silvery heads running out the door, it was Tess and his mom.
Tess had grown taller and her hair longer, "Logan's back!" Logan heard his mom say while she ran out. "Logan!" "Tess!"
Both Tess and Logan yelled while running out of their respective positions, Logan from the carriage, and Tess the house.
"Have you grown taller?" Logan asked, "of course, I need to grow up fast if I want to join you."
"Speaking of have you gotten good at magic" Logan asked, "yeah I will show you later, but first say hi to everyone else" Tess said letting go of Logan. He was immediately pulled into another hug by his mom.
"You've grown taller as well Logan, your taller than me" his mom said while observing Logan after their hug.
Logan had reunited with his dad and other siblings, and soon it was dinner time.
"So Logan how was school" his dad said a bit after they started eating, "it was fine, but I want to go to magic school", " that is fine with us but can we see your sword skills" said his mom after a sip of wine.
