Chapter 34 - Mira Decides to Find Him

Mira woke up earlier than usual.

For a moment, she simply stared at the ceiling.

Her heart was still beating faster than normal.

The conversation from the rooftop felt too real to ignore.

"I saw you too."

"You ordered tea."

"You kept glancing toward the window table."

Every detail he mentioned was correct.

Which meant only one thing.

He really had been there.

Mira sat up slowly.

Her mind felt strangely clear now.

For weeks, she had been confused about the dreams.

Curious.

Sometimes even scared.

But now the situation had changed.

Because the mystery wasn't only in her dreams anymore.

It had entered her real life.

She walked to the window and looked outside.

Morning sunlight was filling the streets.

People were already heading to work.

Cars moved through traffic.

Everything looked normal.

But Mira knew something important now.

Somewhere in this same city…

There was someone who had been standing with her on that rooftop every night.

She crossed her arms thoughtfully.

"Okay," she said quietly.

"If this is real…"

"…then I'm not waiting anymore."

At work, Mira tried to behave normally.

She answered emails.

Attended a meeting.

Finished a few tasks.

But her mind kept drifting toward the same plan.

The café.

Because if what he said was true…

That meant he had been there yesterday.

And maybe…

Just maybe…

He might go there again.

When lunch break finally arrived, Mira didn't hesitate.

She grabbed her phone and walked straight toward the café.

Her heart was beating slightly faster now.

Not from fear.

From anticipation.

The café looked exactly the same as yesterday.

Warm lights.

Soft music.

People chatting quietly.

Mira ordered her usual tea.

But instead of sitting immediately, she looked around carefully.

Her eyes scanned every table.

Every face.

But he wasn't there.

Her heart dropped slightly.

"Of course," she whispered.

"What was I expecting?"

It wasn't like he lived in the café.

Still, she walked toward the same table she had sat at yesterday.

She placed her tea on the table and sat down.

Her eyes kept drifting toward the window table where he had been sitting.

The chair was empty now.

Mira sighed softly.

Maybe it had been a coincidence after all.

Maybe he had just happened to be there yesterday.

And now she was overthinking everything again.

Just as she was about to take a sip of her tea…

The café door opened.

The sound made her glance up automatically.

And then her heart stopped for a second.

Because he had just walked in.

The same calm posture.

The same dark hair.

The same quiet expression she had seen yesterday.

And the same face she had been seeing in her dreams.

Mira quickly looked down at her tea.

Her heart was racing now.

"Stay calm," she whispered to herself.

"Don't stare like a crazy person."

He walked toward the counter to order something.

For a moment, Mira considered leaving.

Because approaching him suddenly felt terrifying.

But another part of her refused to back down.

After everything that had happened…

She deserved answers.

She slowly looked up again.

He was now waiting near the counter.

And just like yesterday…

Something strange happened.

He turned his head slightly.

And his eyes landed directly on her.

Not by accident.

Not randomly.

Directly.

For a moment, the café noise faded in Mira's ears.

Because the look in his eyes felt exactly like the rooftop again.

Familiar.

Calm.

Almost like he had expected to see her here.

He didn't look surprised.

Instead, a small smile appeared on his face.

Not a wide smile.

Just a quiet one.

The kind someone gives when they recognize someone.

Mira's heart started beating even faster.

Because the meaning behind that smile was clear.

He knew.

He knew exactly who she was.

For a few seconds, neither of them moved.

Then he picked up his drink from the counter.

And slowly started walking toward her table.

Mira's brain screamed with panic.

"Oh my god."

"Oh my god."

"Oh my god."

He stopped beside her table.

The same calm expression on his face.

Then he said something quietly.

Something that instantly confirmed everything.

"Tea again?"

Mira looked up at him slowly.

Her mind was spinning.

Because the sentence sounded exactly like something he would say on the rooftop.

He pulled the chair across from her and sat down.

Like this meeting had always been planned.

Then he said one more sentence.

The same calm tone as in the dreams.

"Took you long enough to come back."

Mira stared at him in complete shock.

Because now there was no doubt left.

The person sitting in front of her…

Was the same person from the rooftop.

And their story was no longer happening only in dreams.
