Chapter 13 - Chapter 13: Unraveling the Past Mystery

A week had passed since Anvesha's vision. That little girl she saw—was it her and Ayaan's future child? Ayaan was very happy. But Anvesha still had some questions.

Today morning, after Ayaan left for office, Anvesha called Arnab. Arnab had changed a lot now. Not as terrifying as before. Rather, calm.

"Sister-in-law, you called me?" Arnab came and sat down.

Anvesha asked directly, "Arnab, tell me something about your mother."

Arnab froze. His face paled. "Mother...?"

"Yes. We know about your father. But you never talk about your mother. Why?"

Arnab remained silent for a long time. Then began to speak in a trembling voice—"My mother was still alive when father died. But after father died... mother disappeared."

Anvesha was startled. "Disappeared?"

"Yes. One night, she left home and never returned. The police searched a lot. She wasn't found. Everyone said—mother probably couldn't bear father's death and committed suicide. But no body was ever found."

Thousands of questions arose in Anvesha's mind. Where did Arnab's mother go? What happened to her?

"Do you have any picture of your mother?" Anvesha asked.

Arnab nodded. "Yes. In an old album. Should I bring it?"

"Yes, bring it."

After Arnab left, Anvesha started thinking. Arnab's mother disappeared—right at the time when Ayaan's father and Arnab's father were in conflict. Was there something hidden behind this?

After a while, Arnab returned. In his hands, an old album. Turning the pages, he showed a photo—a beautiful woman. Long hair. Sweet smile.

Anvesha looked at the photo and suddenly startled. This face! Where had she seen it?

"Sister-in-law, what happened?" Arnab asked.

Before Anvesha could say anything, her forehead started burning. She closed her eyes—

She saw—a house. Old times. A woman running. Someone chasing her from behind. The woman fell. In front stood a man—Ayaan's father! Money in hand. The woman was begging. But Ayaan's father shook his head. The woman left crying.

The scene changed—the woman was now alone. On the street. Like a beggar. Fire in her eyes. Hatred on her face.

Anvesha opened her eyes. Her body was sweating. Arnab looked at her anxiously.

"What did you see?"

Anvesha said in a trembling voice, "Your mother... is alive."

Arnab's eyes widened. "What?"

"Yes. I saw her. But I didn't recognize her then. Now I understand—where I've seen that woman."

Arnab became impatient. "Where? Where did you see her?"

Anvesha stood up. "Come. I'll take you to her."
