Everyone returned home with Arnab's mother. The elderly woman's name was Shanta. Peace was now in her eyes. After so many years, she had been able to return to her son.
Ayaan had a large room in the house vacated for Shanta Devi. Gave new clothes. Provided food. Took care.
Shanta Devi was surprised. "You are Ayaan? My enemy's son? Why are you so good?"
Ayaan lowered his head and said, "Mother, I'm ashamed of what my father did. But I want you to live here happily. May you have no lack."
Tears in Shanta Devi's eyes. "I've never seen a son like you. My Arnab has learned to be good from you."
Arnab sat beside his mother and smiled. "Mother, brother has changed my life. Because of him, I've been able to become a good person today."
Anvesha watched everything. Her heart filled with joy.

At night, everyone sat together at the dinner table. Ayaan, Anvesha, Arnab, Shanta Devi. All four eating together. Talking. Laughing.
Suddenly Anvesha's forehead started burning. She closed her eyes—
She saw—a little girl. Running. A dog chasing her. The girl fell. The dog was approaching. And then a woman rushed and picked up the girl. That woman—Shanta Devi!
Anvesha opened her eyes. Stared at Shanta Devi.
"What did you see?" Ayaan asked.
Anvesha said, "Shanta Devi... saved a little girl. From a dog."
Everyone was surprised. Shanta Devi asked, "Who is that girl?"
Anvesha shook her head. "I don't know. But very small. Four or five years old. She was wearing a red dress. A small locket around her neck."
Shanta Devi froze. Her plate fell from her hand to the floor.
"Locket? What kind of locket?"
Anvesha closed her eyes and tried to see again. "A small silver locket. With a pink stone set in it."
Shanta Devi turned pale. With trembling hands, she touched her own neck. There was a locket there—small, silver, with a pink stone set in it!
Everyone was stunned. That locket around Shanta Devi's neck!
"This locket... is from my childhood. My mother gave it to me. But I lost it many years ago. How did you see it?"
Before Anvesha could say anything, her forehead burned again. She closed her eyes—
She saw—a little girl. Crying. Alone on the street. Lost her way. That locket around her neck. And in front stood Shanta Devi—much younger, from that time!
Anvesha opened her eyes and told everyone. Shanta Devi said in a trembling voice, "That's me! Once in my childhood, I lost my way. A woman rescued me. She also had a locket around her neck—just like mine."
Anvesha understood. Shanta Devi would save that little girl—who was actually some relative of Shanta Devi's own childhood? Or someone else?
The mystery deepened further.
