(Jay-Jay's POV)
It was raining the whole day.
Heavy rain. The kind that doesn't stop, like the sky is stuck in one mood.
Section E was loud like always.
Cin and Felix arguing, Drew complaining, Rory and Eren laughing at something random, David and Edrix messing around, Mayo and Kat talking, Blaster shouting for no reason, Denzel and Eman arguing again, Calix sitting like nothing in the world mattered.
And me?
Just there.
Listening to everything and nothing at the same time.
Then—
the classroom door slammed open.
Josh ran in.
Soaked completely.
Breathing hard.
"Jay-Jay!" he called.
Everyone turned instantly.
Cin frowned. "Bro, why are you wet?"
Josh didn't waste time.
"Your ex… Cyrus," he said quickly. "He's outside. At the gate."
Silence.
For a second, nobody moved.
Then slowly—
everyone reacted.
"…Again?" Drew said.
Cin stood up. "Let's go."
Felix sighed. "This guy is seriously annoying."
Rory blinked. "He came back again?"
Eren muttered, "This is getting worse."
David shook his head. "Unbelievable."
Edrix frowned. "Why is he still doing this?"
Mayo sighed. "This is not normal anymore."
Kat looked uneasy. "This is going to turn bad again…"
Blaster cracked his knuckles. "Let's see what he wants."
Denzel stood. "Move."
Eman followed. "Bro…"
Calix stood up slowly. "Let's go."
And just like that—
Section E moved together.
Not loud this time.
Not playful.
Just serious.
We walked out fast.
Hallway full of whispers.
Students peeking out.
Everyone sensing something was happening again.
And then—
the gate.
Rain hit us instantly.
Cold. Heavy. Loud.
And there he was.
Cyrus.
Standing in the middle of the rain.
Soaked.
Not moving at first.
Just waiting.
Cin stopped. "…No way."
Felix clicked his tongue. "Again?"
Rory frowned. "This guy doesn't stop…"
Eren shook his head. "What does he even want now?"
David crossed his arms. "This is getting old."
Edrix muttered, "He really came back…"
Mayo sighed. "Unbelievable."
Kat looked uncomfortable. "I don't like this…"
Blaster stayed ready. "Something feels off."
Denzel stayed quiet. "This is serious."
Eman looked at me. "Jay-Jay…"
I stepped forward slightly.
Cyrus saw me immediately.
His expression changed.
Not confident.
Not loud.
Just… broken.
Like he had been holding everything in for too long.
"Jay-Jay…" he said again.
His voice was shaking slightly.
I didn't answer.
Just waited.
He swallowed hard.
"I didn't come here to cause trouble," he said.
His voice cracked a little.
"I know I messed up… I know I hurt you."
He looked down for a second.
Rain hitting his face.
"I wasn't stable back then," he continued quietly. "My mental health wasn't okay… I was not in the right state of mind…"
Silence.
Even Section E didn't interrupt.
"I did things I shouldn't have done," he said. "And I used my pain as an excuse… but it doesn't change what I did."
His voice dropped lower.
"I'm not here to justify it," he added. "I just needed you to know that."
For a moment—
everything was quiet.
Only rain.
Only breathing.
Only him standing there, finally saying everything without running away from it.
I exhaled slowly.
Then shook my head slightly.
"No," I said.
Simple.
Final.
Cyrus froze.
I stepped back half a step.
"You being broken doesn't undo what happened," I said calmly.
Behind me, I heard someone whisper, "Damn…"
Rory muttered, "That's harsh…"
Eren nodded slightly. "But true…"
Cyrus stayed still.
Not arguing.
Not fighting.
Just… listening.
I continued.
"You can understand it now," I said. "But it doesn't change anything between us."
Silence again.
He lowered his head slightly.
"…I understand," he said quietly.
No drama.
No more excuses.
Just acceptance.
I turned slightly.
"Go," I said.
Soft.
But final.
Cyrus stayed for one more second.
Then stepped back.
Slowly.
And walked away into the rain.
No one followed him.
No one stopped him.
We just watched him disappear.
And when he was gone—
Cin finally spoke.
"…That was heavy."
Felix exhaled. "Yeah…"
Rory shook his head. "That felt real…"
Eren muttered, "It's done now."
David nodded. "Finally."
Blaster relaxed. "No fight. Good."
Kat sighed. "Let's go back…"
Denzel turned. "Yeah."
Eman followed quietly.
Calix didn't say anything.
Just walked back.
Yuri looked at me for a second.
But stayed silent.
I turned too.
"…Let's go," I said.
And Section E went back inside.
As if nothing happened.
But everything had.
