The base was finally ready and for the first time everything felt in place. The systems were active the training areas were complete and the tracking devices were more precise than ever. Now there was only one thing left to do. Find them.
Adrian stood in the control room and marked the first location. He said they would not rush into all seven at once. They would approach them carefully one by one and observe before making any move. Mira agreed and said understanding their behavior was important before revealing anything.
The first few days were spent watching. Each of the seven had reacted differently to the rings. Some were confused some were curious and some were trying to ignore it completely. But one thing was the same for all of them none of the rings could be removed.
Rayan noticed that a few of them had already started experiencing small bursts of power without even trying. Selene said that confirmed their earlier theory the rings were awakening slowly on their own.
