The location did not make sense at first. Adrian stared at the screen for a long moment as if the data might change on its own but it did not. The signals were clear and stable and they were all pointing to the same place. A school.
Mira checked the system again to make sure there was no mistake but the result stayed the same. At least three of the ring holders were in that one location. Rayan let out a quiet breath and said that this was unexpected but also convenient. Selene did not respond immediately, she was already thinking ahead and calculating the risks.
Leo looked at the name of the school on the screen and said it looked like a normal place filled with students who had no idea what was happening around them. Adrian nodded slowly and said that was exactly what made it complicated.
They could not just walk in and take them. They needed a plan.
The next day they reached the area and observed the school from a distance. It was large and well maintained with students moving in and out like any other normal day. Nothing about it looked unusual but the devices they carried told a completely different story.
The signals were there. Inside. Mira adjusted the tracker and confirmed that all three signals were active and close to each other. Rayan crossed his arms and said if they were lucky they might already know each other. Selene shook her head and said they should not assume anything yet.
Leo watched the students carefully and said they looked completely normal. Adrian replied that normal would not last for long.
After observing for a while Adrian made the decision. They would not enter as scientists. They would blend in and move like ordinary people. No attention no mistakes. Mira agreed and said drawing attention in a place like this could cause panic. Rayan added that if their powers activated suddenly it could make things worse.
Selene said they needed to identify them first before making any move. Leo nodded and said they should approach slowly and carefully. They entered the school quietly without attracting attention. Everything inside felt normal voices filled the halls students laughed and talked as if nothing unusual existed in their world. But the devices in their hands continued to guide them.
Step by step they moved closer. And then it happened. The signal grew stronger. Adrian stopped walking. He looked ahead. Somewhere in that crowd were the chosen ones. Three of them. He said quietly that this was not a coincidence. Out of all the places in the world three had ended up here. Mira asked what that meant. Adrian looked forward and answered in a low voice.
It means this is where everything begins. And for the first time they were not just tracking the chosen ones. They were standing right beside them.
