The journey felt longer than it actually was. No one spoke much after leaving the school and the silence between them was not empty, it was filled with questions that none of them knew how to ask yet. Elisa walked slightly ahead her mind focused while Jenny looked around from time to time still unsure about everything and Zoe remained calm as always observing quietly.
Adrian and the others led the way without explaining much. The path became more isolated as they moved further away from the city and soon there were no signs of normal life around them.
