The energy from the training room did not fade even after the session ended. It stayed inside them like something had awakened and refused to go back to sleep. None of them said it out loud but they all felt it, something had changed forever. Later that day they were called back again. This time the room was darker and the system was set to a higher level. Adrian stood in front of them and said today you will not just feel your power you will use it. Mira added that each ring has a different ability and your job is to discover it.
Jenny looked a little nervous but tried to hide it and said so basically trial and error. Rayan smiled and said exactly. Elisa stepped forward first. No one told her to but it felt natural. She stood in the center and closed her eyes again. The energy inside her responded faster this time. It was stronger deeper and more intense. Louis followed. His ability appeared smoother. His movements became faster almost like his body became lighter. He moved across the room quickly then stopped and smiled slightly.
Speed. Jake stepped last. At first nothing happened. He stood still trying to feel something but the others began to wonder if his power was different. Then suddenly the ground beneath him cracked slightly and a strong force pushed outward. Everyone stepped back. Adrian said power surge. Jake looked at his hand confused but impressed.
