Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: The Super Rich Woman

As everyone knows, when a mall first opens, it is always accompanied by various promotional activities to attract customers, and most people are indeed drawn in by such events.

It's a common belief that anyone who doesn't take advantage of a bargain is an idiot.

But Miss Demon King, who was not human, felt quite a deep-seated hatred for this situation: "I feel like we'd be better off shopping somewhere else."

There were simply too many people here, making it unbearable for Leticia.

Unexpectedly, Melanie also nodded, "Indeed, it would be better to go somewhere less crowded."

In their dislike for crowded places, the two arch-enemies actually reached a consensus.

"But there are discounts here! Ten percent off for one item, twenty percent for two, and thirty percent for three." Yori, holding a flyer, still wanted to persuade her sister to stay, "If we calculate it this way, we can save so much money."

"Leticia, don't look at your sister's dazed and silly appearance; if she really wanted to, she could buy this entire mall outright." Leticia patted Yori on the shoulder, "Stop thinking about saving money. You should be considering how to best squander it right now."

"Huh?" Yori looked at her sister, her eyes filled with doubt.

Could her sister actually be a super rich woman?

Melanie rested her chin on her hand and thought for a few seconds, "I don't know."

She didn't know exactly how much money she had; for her, it was enough as long as there was enough to use.

The last time she checked her balance, how many digits was it... Melanie tried hard to recall.

"Two years ago, it was this much." Melanie held up eight fingers.

"So... so much!" Yori stood frozen in place, stunned. Once she snapped out of it, she crumpled the flyer in her hand into a ball and threw it into a nearby trash can.

"Let's go, we're going to buy the best clothes in the city!"

Melanie and Leticia naturally didn't know where Yori was talking about, but as long as they followed her, they certainly wouldn't go wrong.

On the way, Leticia curiously asked Melanie, "Did those eight fingers mean your savings have eight digits?"

Unexpectedly, Melanie shook her head.

"A month. Eight digits," she added in a low voice.

She really couldn't remember how many zeros were in her account, but fortunately, she recalled the initial salary her old friend had offered her.

Leticia stopped in her tracks.

Melanie stopped as well, poking Leticia's waist in confusion, "What's wrong?"

"Nothing... just shocked." Leticia shook her head vigorously, trying to shake the strange thoughts out of her mind.

She didn't dare imagine just how high-level a rich woman Melanie was, though she probably should have expected it.

How could the treatment for such an Ultimate Weapon be poor?

Thinking of herself, the dignified Lord of the Demon Realm, living such a meager life in human society that she had to think thrice before spending money on games.

It was truly heartbreaking.

Yori, unaware of the complicated thoughts of the two behind her, was now diligently searching for the best clothing store in Central City that she had heard about from her classmates.

That young lady classmate had said that in the very center of the Commercial Street, there was a clothing store that could be spotted at a glance, where the clothes were the best in Central City in terms of both style and material.

Naturally, the prices were also the highest.

Yori had always harbored a bit of curiosity about it, and today, she finally found the opportunity to satisfy that curiosity.

Her sister was a super rich woman, so a rich woman definitely had to wear more expensive clothes.

Yes, that was it.

Yori would never admit that this was to satisfy that tiny bit of vanity in her heart.

"This is the place." Upon arriving at the center of the commercial area, Yori indeed saw that clothing store.

It should be... 'a' store, right?

Looking at the massive three-story building in front of her, Yori was a bit uncertain.

This single clothing store felt even larger than the mall they had just left; it was simply too ridiculous.

"I think I've heard of this brand; it's a very famous luxury brand." Leticia took out her phone and snapped a photo of the logo in front of the building, finding a profile of the clothing store through a search engine. "Tsk tsk tsk, it really is a place only rich people can afford to visit."

Ordinary people couldn't even enter; one had to hold a VIP card for the brand or prove they could afford the consumption inside to be allowed in.

As for how to prove it?

By showing how much money you have. It was quite simple and blunt.

"Let me ask first, Melanie, did you bring your card?" Leticia asked Melanie.

She was afraid that Melanie might drop the ball once they reached the entrance. Leticia was a poor person and wouldn't be able to get the two of them inside.

Melanie nodded, pulled a small gray pouch from her pocket, and after rummaging through it, held a small black card in her hand.

"It's even a Black Gold Member..." Now Leticia was completely certain that Melanie was a true rich woman.

The card in Melanie's hand was an ultimate VIP card that could only be obtained by having a balance exceeding a certain number in the Central Bank. Anyone who possessed such a card was a powerful figure who dominated a region in the Human World.
