The greatest enemy of mankind, an Arch Deofol that reads a future like a book, read it to a vain noble, Rotsard Vallhall.
The story was about a great hero who would save their world, but in that story, Rotsard was only a third-rate, stepping-stone villain who died in shame within two years.
After finishing, the Arch Deofol mocked Rotsard.
If he changes the main points of the story and saves himself, mankind is doomed.
If he chooses to save mankind and not interfere, his own life, his very soul, will be forfeit in the most pitiful and shameful way.
What it wanted to do was to throw Rotsard into despair that would sweeten his soul, the Arch Deofol would then devour.
What it didn't account for, was how spiteful the young noble was.
