"He was the one who stayed beside me." I said softly, a nostalgic smile on my face.
Aaron's expression softened slightly as his throat bobbed.
"He is also the kids' favorite uncle," I added with a small smile. "They adore him." yes, the kids did since they were literally babies.
Aaron nodded slowly.
"He sounds like a good man," he grumbled but I didn't bother correcting the tone.
"He is," I replied with a smile.
I paused for a moment before adding another thought.
"He helped me more than I can ever explain." I knew I didbt need to but I wanted to understand how Mathew is in my life.
Aaron thought quietly for a few seconds.
"Then I should thank him properly," he said.
I raised an eyebrow in question.
"What do you mean?"
"To thank him."
I chuckled lightly, "You don't need that..." he interrupted me.
"I am investing in his business tomorrow," Aaron said simply.
I blinked in surprise.
