Rei knew how to not push his boundaries ever since he had gotten himself in trouble during the end of the year of his fourth year high when he snapped after years of ensuring not to fight back. All his fights were mostly brutal and one sided due to being the second most powerful student next to Sylvie who's in the first spot. Most of the schoolmates and his classmates in the same year as him were only low-tier to elite-tier at best except for some people who were barely a high-tier and god-tier.
...…
This is the exact why he was having trouble with ending the fight as most of the time he spared the latter of humiliation by trying to walk away, the other guy continued to fight which he couldn't avoid since whenever he tried to walk away, the latter would just dash to him to try hitting him which was a poor attempt since he only side stepped it before kicking him away.
"Jeez, if this keeps up. I won't have a good reputation." Rei thought to himself as he tried his best not to brutally assault the white haired male in front of him.
He tried his best not to make it one sided by weakening and slowing his punches and kicks although it wasn't enough since his instincts were almost natural to him to fight at full capacity. "Damnit…" he muttered as he had no choice but to power himself up after seeing the other male power up, a bright blue aura surrounding them while his red aura surrounded him.
Rei tried to read the latter's prowess through the passive of his ability but couldn't tell since due to not witnessing enough except for its warm energy upon sensing it himself. "Fire?" He thought to himself as the white haired male immediately manifested what seemed to be black flames that had a blue aura around it before it shot out to him in the form of arrows.
The shape of the guy's energy that he could see through his prowess's passive had allowed to mimic what he needed to do to copy the prowess. Rei immediately summoned black flames with the difference of the colour since he had red instead of blue.
"Isn't that a black flame?!" One of the crowd said which intrigued Rei before focusing on his match as he formed a wall between himself and the flame arrows that were shot out to him.
The white haired male smirked to himself as if he had achieved total victory although that smirk would vanish almost instantly the moment his flame arrows did nothing against Rei's black flames.
"It withstood against mine without any trouble?!" He thought to himself before summoning a giant spear flame which emitted such heat upon forming it. "If you can block it, then you'll be finished with this one!" They thought to themselves before striking it down to Rei.
Most of the crowd gasped upon seeing such a powerful attack being used against Rei although they had no idea why the latter was just standing still while his hands were pointed out words and opened while generating the same flames like the ones with the white hair male.
They were confused why Rei was gathering every flame in one area when spinning rapidly like a whirlpool, that is until they felt the powerful aura emitting from such a compressed sphere.
"Two can play with that game." Rei thought to himself before throwing the compressed flame sphere against the giant spear.
Most of the crowd thought that it would only end up with a stalemate due to expecting the white haired male to only just get exhausted for putting that much spiritual energy into his attack.
If only it was the real outcome since Rei's sphere instantly destroyed the spear in half as the two separated things just combusted in flames while mid air without being able to reach him. However, the sphere still stood strong as it managed to land onto the other party's chest which immediately exploded into flames.
"No way!"
"He broke through his attack?!"
"His attack landed on him?!"
The crowd gasped and started to murmur loudly which Rei managed to hear a statement of one or three depending on how he could focus himself to listen but had to look over to his opponent since he didn't want to end up putting the guy in a rough shape.
"Fxck. Is he alright?" He thought to himself, worrying over the fact that he had harmed a fellow soon to be schoolmate of his before he could even start his academic year the next day.

Sylvie was stretching on her way after class had finished. It was fine if it weren't for the people making a big deal of her because of the questions asked by the professor regarding her prowess level. She had no clue about their way of grading but she only told what she knew back in Hong Kong which made almost everyone in the class criticise her status between a god-tier and a mid-tier.
If the professor didn't interfere, it would've been a catastrophe with how everyone in her class would force themselves to witness her use her prowess. "Jeez. I guess the social hierarchy here is way worse than in Hong Kong…" Sylvie thought to herself before sighing after being relieved from her stretching.
"I should meet with Rei so that I could help him-" Her thoughts were interrupted when someone bumped into her. "Sorry! Dude let's go, Haru is fighting someone!" The person said as their companion followed them.
"A fight? Is it a ranked fight?" Sylvie thought to herself but wasn't interested to watch since she had other important things to do especially when Rei would need the information that she had attained from her class to help his general knowledge with a little bit of sense for his first day.
"No way? Haru is struggling to keep up with the new guy?"
That one statement immediately caught her attention as she had followed them to where it was being held. It was the same as the one from the room where she had the entrance examination except the area had some sort of dueling stage.
Her eyes immediately locked into Rei who was trying his best not to harm the supposedly Haru from what she had heard from someone. "How? How did he already get into this situation? He hasn't even started his day yet he's already involved in a duel?" Sylvie thought to herself as she wondered how her best friend managed to put himself in his current situation.
Sylvie watched Rei fight Haru with little effort since his violent tendencies were almost snapping out as she saw him hold himself back by missing the flames that were an easy hit. She knew that Rei had troubles with holding himself back due to some background that she still had no clue other than what he had told her from before.
"Shit!" She muttered upon seeing Rei open his palm instinctively before blasting the other party away. He should be the winner already but the white haired male was persistent and eager to go again as if they were trying to regain their ego from the humiliation based from the expression on their face until a monotone voice echoed through the entire area.
"Rei Nishimura. Haru Sasaki."
The entire crowd along with Rei and Haru who were on the stage immediately stopped what they're doing as they looked over to where the voice had come from.
On the doorstep, Eunji stood with a glow of her prowess being activated. Her aqua blue eyes glowed bright while the aura she emitted seemed to be powerful enough to put almost everyone on a chokehold.
"Explain yourself before I report this to the headmaster." she said as Rei couldn't dare to say anything, the aura was similar to the rehabilitation classes that he used to attend.
An aura of someone who's at the top of the food chain while he was only below the pyramid. "Fuck…" Rei uttered as his mind ran through simulations of what possible and logical explanations he could do.
"What do you think? This outsider dared to bump into me! He should know his place in Kamigami Academy especially when I-" Rei immediately interrupted Haru as he defended himself. "Dared? More like an accident! I didn't even mean to! I tried to explain myself then you just have to drag me out here!"
Eunji's presence became even more menacing as Rei could feel the intensity of her prowess flaring up from how bright her aura glowed. "Is that so?" Her tone and attention is mostly directed to Haru before she continues. "If what you want to do is to show your rank then you should be humble. That's because playing by your rules means that you're disrespecting a fellow god-tier of our division."
Eunji's statement brought almost everyone in the room in a collective gasp while Haru felt shame and embarrassment before scoffing as he went in the opposite direction.
Meanwhile, Rei was having a dilemma once again with the same hierarchy that he had to deal with again. "Shxt… I guess I'm gonna be treated like a god because of my ranking huh…" he thought to himself before sighing.
